We had started placement in a war and then after the emergency maintenance we were no longer in placement and back to the matchmaking timer........... Kinda annoying
If I remember last time the war "didn't count", points for that war were still added to season total then removed at the end. Alliances went into the last couple of wars with no idea where they ranked or how they needed to perform. Hope I'm wrong but expect more of the same.
Agreed, could really do with confirmation on whether this war will count or not before the attack phase begins or at least early into the attack phase.
The right thing to do is cancel todays AW. It will be a repeat of the total screw up from a few seasons ago. Please tell me you learned from past mistakes. Otherwise you're just showing how dumb the decision makers are. Saying it doesn't count isn't enough. Everypne currently matched needs to have theirs wiped out too. Last time this happened those who matched climbed a tier, gained bigger multiplier for remainder of season. Today needs to be wiped. No attack phase today. Start fresh in a couple days.
Not matched either. Something reset our enlistment request. Highly annoying. My team was initially upset with the officers, but clearly this is a much larger issue.
Remember all the negativity they got when they deducted all points at the end of that season, there where to many discrepancies! I seen 1 Ally drop 2 tiers because of it how that happened i don't know... we don't need another fiasco of waiting over 1 week for season rewards to many people leave and join different allys that's another fiasco on it's own right!
Either Cancel now or let it go ahead simple.
Actually it's not that simple. This current aw must be cancelled, but the rest of the season completely depends on how confident kabam is in solving the issues leading up to this current mess, as well as all the other server and connection issues.
Again from experience I expect them to be overly confident.
The safest route would actually be to "cancel" the season for now and maybe once they actually resolved all the issues play the rest of it out as normal. For that they would at the very least reduce the season rewards qualification cutoff.
That would probably be the easiest solution, but I don't expect them to do this. Aw is simply too valuable as a game mode for them.
Cancelling the season now would suck for everyone that's been getting mismatched waiting for the new matchmaking system to balance out. They've backed themselves into a corner with this mess up

Points (at least for Defenders Placed) for some and not others, even if they end up cancelling the war before Attack phase starts.
Remember, the 1st War did NOT count towards the Solo War Event.
