5* Scarlet Witch, worth it?

Obviously am waiting on the edge of my seat for when she gets released, but curious to see opinions on whether or not people think she will be a viable character to take into Abyss, deep Act 6, Variants, etc...

There are probably better mystics than her for sure, but she still has her uses and if you're in the favor of RNGesus, then the contest is your play thing. I'd personally whale for her if I had the resources

My guess is it will be a long time until shes out in the basic pool, their announcement was only referring to if you spent money to purchase bundles at a chance at pulling her (just like wolverines was)

I don't think she's one of the best mystics, but she's obviously a solid champ. The problem is many good mystics don't need sig ability: Claire, Doom, Sym Supreme, Sorcerer Supreme, Longshot. In the same time Scarlet Witch needs not only an awakening, but a very high sig, and even with that she fall behind those I mentioned.

I see Scarlet Witch as a trophy champ, not someone you can use a lot. For make her usable, u need high sig, but if you're at the state when u can have a high sig SW, I think at that point you'll have better options to use overall. She has no unique ability that helps u at specific matchups, like the immunities of Claire, power control of Doom or nullify of Sym Supreme. She is solid champion, who can do good damage and regen some health independent from matchup, but the RNG will not always be on your side.

If u are newbie or medium-lvl player, you simply will not have resources to awaken and take her up to sig 200. If u have that resources, it may be better to feed that ag and sig stones to Mojo, Morningstar or Magik.

A trophy champ? I disagree. The 4* is still amazing for content where the challenger rating doesn't prevent her from proccing her abilities. I don't see any reason why a 5* or 6* wouldn't be good. Could be wrong.

I think she would be great in Act 6. Here is the problem. The amount of money you would likely spend chasing her down would more than cover just clearing the content with other champs. Unless you just happen to get REALLY lucky.

I am not saying she is going to be a world-beater...but one thing I think gets overlooked is Challenge Rating. We have been taking her into higher level content, facing 5 and 6 star enemies that have her whupped on challenge rating since she is only a 4* 5/50...it will be interesting to see how she performs against those same enemies without that being a factor.

I know someone who uses a max 4* SW in incursions in sector 7 and says she can hold her own pretty well. Haven't maxed mine but another champ really good for incursions and decent everywhere else would be worth it to max for me.

I see a lot of people being disappointed at her launch. Her sig won’t be useful until a high level like vision.

There are so many better mystics out there. I don’t care if I’m right or wrong. I won’t be going for her or even ranking her if I were to some how get her.

As some have said she’s viable in certain areas but I don’t see her being useful passed act 5.

Uh. I cleared ROL and act 5 with a 4*. She’ll be insane, and I have doom 5/6*. She’s just fun to play.

Apologies if I'm misinterpreting what you're saying, but they can change how the sig scales depending on the star rating. So while SW with sig 200 back in November (or even earlier) may have destroyed everything, they might have tweaked the scaling of her sig to make it more balanced since then.

it would be cool if they add a nostalgia mode where you can go and play old champs. would be super fun
obviously, I'd rather they add new content with rewards and fix any bugs

Considering the teams track record on “testing” champs and nodes I wouldn’t take that statement with a grain of salt
