Thing you may not know about Mysterio

I dunno how common this knowledge is but I thought it's worth sharing

When you play as Mysterio against a safeguard opponent, the reflected damage when reflection gas expires isn't subject to the safeguard 1% limit, meaning that you can easily bypass this node, simply by using SP1s and letting the enemy beat you a bit.

In most cases tho, make sure to use his poison debuff on heavy. But against immunity champs this works great.

I recently took my Mysterio to r4 and man do I love him! My favorite thing about the reflection gas is that if you have points in recovery (I have mine maxed) you can regen more damage than you take. Super helpful. Also, that poison damage after you get your Frenzy Gas is insane.

Safe guard only applies to hits not secondary forms of damage like DOT, quakes charges or Rulks vinous damage

That’s why people tell you to bring in a DOT champ to bypass it

Yes, that is correct. My main point was that when you say "red numbers", Mysterio isn't usually the first champion you think of.

not related to safeguard, but another thing that you may not know about mysterio is that his 4th light hit is a projectile, i discovered this while fighting an OG daredevil, he evaded that hit all the times ^_^
