Red Hulk not Immune?

Currently exploring Variant 2 and im doing the Mephisto fight. While using red hulk I was suffering damage from his Aura of incineration. Has it always been like this? I've fought Mephisto with red hulk on the rarest of occasions and dont recall him taking damage from the aura. Is this normal or a bug?

It's normal, as he isn't naturally immune to incinerate. He purifies any incinerate debuffs he obtains and converts it into a heat charge. Since Mephisto's aura is passive incinerate damage, he suffers the damage. However, if your Red Hulk is awakened, you can gain Incinerate Damage resistance for each heat charge you have.

You'll need a rather high sig on him for him not to take any passive damage though.

He gains a % incinerate immunity per heat charge. At 10 he is fully immune to Mephisto aura.

A tip... let him hit you block 4/5 times at start of fight and that gives charges and then Fight back.

That works. You can also spam sp1 to if you're worried about chip damage

Yeah the sig ability gives that % immunity to incinerate per charge...

If you read his description the sig has everything to do with it. He'll need about sig 40 and 10 heat charges to be 100% resistant.

This however isn't enough if mephisto has increased incinerate which makes Rulk take damage unless his sig is higher to provide greater than 100% resistance
