Aegon against the generic skill node in abyss of legends

After a special aegon does not gain his abilities back like he used to do for others (like dragon vs aegon and killmonger on a stream) so seems a bug but I’m not sure

The skull node used to be bugged where it just went away after a special, it’s fixed mostly now, though there’s an issue where chaining a special from a combo means the special doesn’t trigger stuff, but that’s something fundemental and can’t really be fixed

However I did notice that abyss aegon did not gain any furies after my aegon threw a special which was weird if he did not gain his buffs or unblockabke

Does that mean aegon can still gain his buffs if you just parry then special or not?
