Great work, Kabam

Variant 5 is really fun. It's challenging enough but mostly in terms of skill, because you can use a large number of champs. No scary node combos, and a few really nice ones (Life Transfer). The global nodes did not create any punishments for the champs you used, only bonuses. The rewards for completion were stacked when you could have easily put more of those in the exploration batch.

All in all a big round of applause is deserved, IMO. More content like this, please.

Absolutely on this! V5 was fantastic!! Yet again another reason to keep these variants coming. The champion restrictions were well balanced as it gave the opportunity for Spiderverse and Symbiotes to shine and still have the entire Mystic class to choose from if you don't have everyone needed. Well done!!

I love how there is an easy completion path in all quests. No bad nodes combined with terrible champs. Probably will be there in exploration but that is justified.

Had so much fun bringing my magik back into the team. Also paths can be done with any champ if you're skilled enough. Although good champs like BWCV will make it easier. The only "bad" boss till now was the scarlet witch with her poison and you definitely need a poison immune

agree strongly with the first part. I always appreciate an easier path for people who might not be able to do the exploration

It’s fun! Definitely like it. I’m not 100% through but enjoying it. I’m about 55% through.

I totally agree. And most of the fights were super fun. I absolutely loved fighting Captain Marvel, Gamora and Storm. But that IMIW in the first quest was actually my favorite fight in the whole Variant. You can dex both Specials 3 times so if he throws a Special, you can ignore his armor and auto-block. I loved it. Great work and great rewards. Also, Magik was just the most fun champ ever in the second chapter. Sp2 spam all day long.

Personally much preferred all the other variants but I guess 4/5 isnt bad. Not the direction I’d want the future ones to head down.

IMO it is a fine line for Kabam to draw, making these hard but not stupid hard. That line is different for every player, and I can see how players at your level might have found it easy. Maybe they can have a third difficulty level next time that would be even harder.

I don’t think it’s so much the difficulty. V4 was pretty easy relative to the others but I had a blast with that one.

I’m not at any special level really just an average cav player I guess.

It was more the bosses were just another fight. There’s nothing memorable like act 5 ultron, act 6 xbones, champion, darkhawk etc kang, science adaptoid, dpx etc from variants, fights that people talk about or try to work out for a period of time and that linger in the memory or you’d go back and do again, even though you’ve already 100% it because they were so much fun or you wanna see your progress vs initial struggles etc etc.
