Is this a bug? Plus the annoying nodes AND 1.4 million health AND we can only bring 4 star champions?! What is going on? For only 3k 5* shards?/

The Synergy that Curler pointed out is effective as well. OR, Jugs, and Colossus. Spam the L2. I've been playing with Colossus in general, and he seems to be the safest bet because he takes less Damage with Armor. The trick is to get cooperative AI and/or a rhythm. Sometimes you get the jerky/whiff AI pattern.

There’s a huge difference between a discussion and what you’re doing. I’ve seen you personally go after multiple people on here trying to tell kabam how they feel. It’s one thing to state your opinion and move on, but you’re not doing that. You’re picking each and every player who doesn’t like this event and trying to argue with them and say they’re wrong. What good does that do? Who’s mind are you trying to change? Do you not think your point was made the first 3 or 4 times you did this, on the same thread?

It seems very tiring and a waste of energy. And considering the mass of people disapproving of this event, you’re in the minority on liking it. At some point you gotta step back and check why you’re devoting this much energy to call out others who never even mentioned your name or replied to you.

No, it does not. That argument does not make sense in the English language. If I design a race that is challenging for all entrants, I am not going to have a 1 mile run, because it would not be challenging for sprinters. I am not going to have a 5k, because while that may be challenging for sprinters, it will not be challenging for cross country runners, it is not going to be a marathon, because while that will be challenging for sprinters and cross country runners it will not be challenging for marathoners.

When you design one challenge that has to be challenging for EVERYONE then you design the challenge from the top, not the bottom, otherwise it is not challenging to everyone, which is what they claimed it would be.

Thanks Kabam, we now know what exactly "Summer of Pain" actually means.

You get to spend tons of resources & gold on a few, select 4* champs all for 3000 5* shards & 500K gold, but wait, there is more, there will be 2 more bosses that you need other 4* champs to spend even more resources on to bring up counters for them!

That pretty much qualifies the term Pain.

"all" is not the word that is at issue here, it is "designed for" that is at issue. All in that phrase means accessibility, not who should be able to beat it easily. Challenging for all describes how it is designed.

in making it challenging for everyone, it reaches a point where certain people can’t compete, whether that be because they aren’t high enough level to rank up champs, don’t rank up four stars anymore, don’t have the right champs, etc etc.

All in all, this could’ve been done better and was a big misfire from Kabam. I’m done arguing with you, thanks. May the RNG be ever in your favor.

I hated the pacer test. Especially when people would shove you and step on your heals. Anyway storyline is over. The pacer test is the ideal challenge for a "race"

They could have, but that is not what they claimed they were doing.

My issue is not that you find the challenge hard, difficult or any of that, I think most people would support that assessment.

My issue is when you claim that challenging for all, means doable by all, or/and designed for the lower end players. Those are not the same thing..

You will not find a single argument that I can think of where I stated anything to anyone who just stated it was hard, just people who claimed something like the above.

i really only have an issue with the rewards but it is what it is. i don't think there's anything wrong with it. it's an event that is tailored to a very specific subset of players. the Show Up one was for people who wanted to see what the fight was like.

the fight itself wasn't hard at all .. just long with the health pool but still accessible .. granted it's easier with the right champs.

5K in shards .. i think that would have been the sweet spot.
