Is this a bug? Plus the annoying nodes AND 1.4 million health AND we can only bring 4 star champions?! What is going on? For only 3k 5* shards?/

Like, make Captain Marvel immune to the damage back from mystic champions. And IW IM should have some healing abilities, so that we need to outdamage it.

Just some ideas. Don't make them as easier as this silver surfer was

Or just completely remove them so that there are no complaints. Players would focus more on the challenge itself rather than any rewards

Agree. Removing the rewards is a good idea. This way people will know it's only a challenge event. They will not get anything for it. They can just test their skills if they want.

bitter disappointment again, sadly was excited to try the basic one then saw you fed the whales again forgetting the normal players. That is not worth 3,000 shards not when people have to rank up etc champions that will sit on the side line again afterwards. Again Rich get richer while normal every day players seem to scraps. You need to find balance between Beginner > Intermediate > UC > Cav and balance content to match it with adaquite prizes to do that content.

I am not saying the rewards have to be amazing for lower tier, but should also toss us a bone every once in awhile.

this event is a swing and a hit, and it's a home run until it actually came out. thats when you realized the home run ball hit some dude on the head and hospitalized him.

it's funny how it would probably take me longer to do th one fight than to read all these comments.

Medusa and Collosus are MVP no doubt. I can take him down to 30% with one Medusa run. She is built for this fight, one sp1 then the rest is sp3.

Kabam has done a great job lately, and I’ve said so, for the most part. Here’s why this content (edit: is a failure in its design): they could have made it exactly as difficult yet FAR more accessible/desirable by using 3-stars and reducing the HP to 550k. (As a quick sample, I checked my maxed 3-star and 4-star Blades. The 4-star has 2.5x more attack and hp).

I’m not going to spent 8 basics and a pile of iso ranking Colossus for 3,000 shards that’ll inevitably turn into a Sentry dupe. If you had made it a 3-star quest, you remove a barrier to entry and actually entice people to play.

Agreed. I was able to oneshot him with Medusa. Once you get an armor shatter its about keeping it up with the sp3. I used karnak, blackbolt, nick and kamala khan on the team for synergies. I killed off nick fury first for the attack boost. It was still a seven minute fight. Bait specials, use special 3, repeat.

Anyone tried going in with corvus and using a cosmic power boost to just spam sp2???
It is harder with corvus, I went in, you take more chip damage because you rely on parries, and you also cannot punish specials as often.
You wouldn’t need to parry, he is immune to cold snap damage so he would just keep healing if it was inflicted.

he is not immune to coldsnap, he just does not take damage while his charges are up. Then you have to either keep dodging or parry attack while waiting for a recharge.
And you take direct damage when they purify

Using his sp2 doesn’t consume charges, so if you do enough dmg to get a full sp2 out of the boost, you don’t run out of charges and willpower keeps healing you.

So I’ll ask again, has anyone who actually understands the champ/boost mechanics tried corvus using a 200% cosmic boost?

To be clear my understanding of those boosts is that it registers the amount of damage as a function of the percentage of the total health of the defender. But to humor you I tried anyways. It does absolutely nothing. You owe me a boost.

Huh? Use your common sense big guy. You don't have to defend Kabam about literally everything. This is not about having the skills or roster, it's about common sense. What kind of common sense goes into making a 1.4 million health Silver Surfer with insanely niche nodes (need a consistent armor breaker or coldsnap immune) AND you can only use 4 star champions. 4 STAR CHAMPIONS. The last time I've upgraded a 4 star champion was a long, long time ago. And all of this for 3k 5 star shards?! Pathetic.
It's optional. You don't have to do it. They made a challenging quest to make us think outside the box. It's free to try and you can attempt it as much as you want. I tried it and after a couple attempts, for sure not going to waste my time on it. They said all along that this was supposed to be a very hard challenge.
Think outside the box? In what way? Literally the only requirement for this fight is skill and a cold snap immune champ. Colossus is going to own the leaderboard since he’s the hardest hitting coldsnap immune champ.
Coldsnap immune is not the only way to go. There's a much larger group of Champions that have access to Armor Break, and that ability does not activate when Armor Broken. I am definitely not the most skilled player here, but I found the most success with Medusa using the Karnak synergy. One heavy attack and that ability is finished for the whole fight.

Actually, I just tested it. He was right. Get a Heavy off first, and no Coldsnap. Another option is Pyramid X with Ice Tempest Pre-Fight.
Storm pyramid x makes him regen. Go and actually complete the fight first. Then talk about counters. Smh

She does if you use the L1 and try to place Coldsnap on him. Probably shouldn't do that. Lol.

Wasn't bad for me with Dr doom with mrf syngergy. Take 1 coldsnap damage at beginning and then heavy armor break all fight and cycle them sp3s

I asked this in the past too, whether the difficulties will be the same. Now come on, showdown scores are measured by many factors which show that the boss isn't meant to die. For show up, you have to complete the fight to even get the rewards, which for that difficulty and restriction, are absolutely not worth it. Atleast allow the entire roster for the fun difficulty. Never imagined I'll feel bad for having a 5* torch and Colossus but not the 4*

My only problem was that the fight isn't a "fun" challenge. It wasn't difficult, it was just boring. Has anyone tried CMM? I guess she could do it in less time than Medusa..
