BEHOLD the PERFECT no suicides summoner showdown run

I did it boys. In my opinion, this is the perfect run. No hits taken, 1 combo, fight until I time out. If this doesn’t get me the qualify, nothing ever will. @Kabam Miike I don’t know if you’re responsible of the qualifiers, but I’d appreciate if you take suicides into consideration when you decide who’s the best.

My first message i literally said good job. But you came out cocky as all hell from the title of the post and the whole way thru. Nobody gonna give you anything with that kind of attitude

But just to add some extra salt in your wound, I could not participate in Showdown with suicides active and still place outside of the qualifiers just like you. Guess we're on the same level of not qualifying for the next round.

I agree this event is being run on an uneven playing field. It’s pretty simple. The previous iterations of this event didn’t allow for mastery changes to max offensive capabilities. I have never unlocked suicides and never will. Does that mean my skill level is lower than that of those on the leaderboard who have 60% more attack due to these masteries? I’ll share screen shots and let you decide.

Is it fair that you have to depend on RNG to have the best counter? Of course not. Previous iterations allowed players the full extent of the available characters at max rank to choose from. As players completed the challenge using certain champs others would follow so not surprising to see all Medusa in the top 10.

Anyone arguing against these points has unlocked all of the offensive masteries and has Medusa and either doesn’t have the skill to get into the top 10 or doesn’t really care to spend units to maximize their chance and that is their choice. I choose not to spend 100$ of dollars to unlock the full suicide masteries.

While I agree with @RazorDevil’s sentiment, I have to respectfully disagree on his position that his is the best run sans suicides. There are likely plenty of others who have fared better. The problem is if you don’t have suicides you’re not completing this.

Why don’t you just make mastery changes free for the 3 weeks of the event and set a limit as to what masteries can be used? Or unlock all masteries for all players competing during the event and then put back the original setting after. Previous iterations rarely showed players defeating the boss but those with skill triumphed as opposed to those with 60% additional attack. You shouldn’t be punished for not unlocking these masteries previously.

"Try the fight without suicides" but why would others willingly handicap themselves just to prove a point because you're too entitled to realize you're not playing optimally? Get in arenas like everyone else, stop burning units on pointless crystals, or trying to bumrush quests with items to make up for your lack of skill, and maybe you'll have the resources you need to unlock suicides. Suicides are NOT locked behind a paywall, you just refuse to make the effort required to unlock them. That's entirely your fault, not kabam's.

Why unlock suicides when you don’t need them? Suicides don’t make content easier, they make it faster. Some people didn’t feel the need to unlock suicides because they don’t mind fights being a bit longer and prefer to run without recoil. Either way you look at it summoners have made a choice, no one’s choices are wrong, no one’s are right. However with this competition only one of those choices is being rewarded.

But you do need suicides. For legend runs, high level arenas, the showdown, and any time-based challenge, you do need suicides. Every choice has a cost, and you made yours, fully aware of the potential consequences. Stop crying.
Wrong, I got my legends title without suicides. Arenas are optional so also wrong. Suicides are not needed for anything in the game. And one other thing, if you want to have an actual discussion don’t resort to insults, it does no one any good and just makes you look like you have no better argument than to insult people. Which frankly based on your post looks to be the case.
Im on android so i could never go for legends run either way. But to be fair suicides is def needed to win this week thats a fact. Personally id like a competition like this to be played on a different server where u get all champs and everyone have same masteries and what not. I do have suicides on so it doesnt effect me but i do feel for some who dont and those that dont have medusa.

With that beeing said theres a reason OP gets so much hate here and its that cocky arrogance thinking hes the best when hes clearly not. Tons of us can solo this without suicides dude. Check out some of the times posted and you will maybe realise you should eat some humble pie. You aint getting any firends this way you are behaving

I’m not trying to defend OPs attitude here. My problem is with the people saying it’s any players fault who didn’t unlock suicides which is completely wrong because suicides are not required for anything in the game. Sure I could have unlocked suicides over the years, but I made the choice not to because I didn’t need them and I don’t like recoil, now I feel like that choice is being punished here.

The Showdown is also optional. Suicides are optional. If you want to be Optimal in the Optional content, you run what you need to run.

So why not allow boosts?
