Side Quest Replay Bug or infinite rewards

i went down a path got 10 sig stones crystals in first try then i replayed the same quest went down same path got 10 sig stones crystal again so does that means we get to keep these rewards or its a bug

I think that players who used the bug shouldnt be punished but rewards have to be stripped. I mean, there were 2% T5CC crystals in there. A player could have easily got a full T5CC by spamming the quest

That's actually incorrect. Luckily, the 2% T5CC crystals weren't available today as they required 2 keycards to get into.

As you can see here in Cat Murdock's fabulous diagram of the treasure island map, 2% T5CC crystals are NOT accessible atm because they are locked behind 2 keycards. They will be available tomorrow for people who saved their first keycard. Therefore, your argument is invalid. The most valuable reward in here, which is obviously the 2% T5CC crystal, has NOT been exploited. This is a good thing because it does not unfairly increase anyone's prestige.

worth it if you went for the 1000 6 star shards/7500 5 star shards route. I think out of all the paths, this one and the 5 star awakening are the most crazy.

I mean people would have farmed like maybe 15-20k 6 star shards and 150-200k 5 star shards. Thats better than the appreciation calendar

I did the platpool thing 2 or 3 times and didn’t even get platpool so it wasn’t worth it

If they allow rewards to stay, even with a temporary ban, they are signaling to all that the rewards far outweigh the risks and it’s open season to exploit any errors, open season on cheating it seems.

Some people have gotten upwards of 19 Awakening gems apparently. Obviously it can't be left alone.

Normally I say it's not that big of a deal, but if that is true, that's quite extreme.
Exactly, 19 gems. That's over a year's worth of it. I'm pretty sure it's an outlier but I do hope kabam fix it somehow.

I also know of someone who ran the 1000 6* path 5 times, and has pulled a champ from it.

I went onto YouTube to see some of the new Cav difficulty while playing it. Someone commenting on Lagacy video that he farmed 33 AGs, you think that sort of thing should just be let go and left as is? You can't be serious 😂

I think he meant that they should just leave the bug on so that everyone can farm as much as they want.

it was someone commenting not Lagacy. That's the point, these extra rewards should all be removed.

I would understand a certain amount as a gesture of error. Perhaps 3 rounds. Before anyone suggests such, I only ran it once. I could simply understand some allowance. 33 runs is insane.

If it’s an egregious exploit a ban should be considered. This game has been out for over 5 years, people know how quests and side events work. You don’t get unlimited rewards, it was an obvious bug and an obvious exploit to run it multiple times. 2 or 3 is one thing, but doing more than that and knowing it’s against TOS is another.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, long time players should know the rules and either abide by then or face consequences.

I didn’t make a single run, I was at busy at work, but I read the line chatter about it and knew it would be down quickly. Those who spammed runs did it knowing there was a short window to do it in as well. That’s a blatant exploit. A message needs to be sent, if you try to scam the system be prepared for the consequences.

This kind of behavior is why we lost gifting and treasuries and why people have negative units. The game was becoming imbalanced because of fraud and changes had to be made.
