Caltrop node on Archangel in aw

Using suicides against an AA with caltrop node and dashing back converts bleed and and posion straight into neurotoxin. Is this right as per AA abilitities description posion debuff had to be caused by him? For bleed is ok as is triggered by node, but posion is not from AA

Been that way forever and been brought up a lot. You’re right that it shouldn’t work per his ability description, kind of like nick fury 2nd form being blocked by heal prevention. Not sure it’s ever been addressed as working as intended or not.

Where does it say in AA abilities that only the poison/bleeds he applies can be converted into neurotoxins?

For someone using suicides I believe some more research should be used before having them. There has been a trick to avoid this for years.

I've been using suicides for a while i just make sure i dont hit into AA's block to avoid my suicide debuffs from turning into a neuro.

however in this case, it seems that when the attacker gains a bleed from the node, its automatically combined into a Neuro which doesnt sound like something that could be avoided.

Granted i only ever use Omega for caltrops so i've never experienced this myself.

Exactly what I was going to say. AA triggers the bleed via the node and combines it with the poison that is already there.

It’s about how to apply them in your masteries. The order will matter...
AA causes bleed, then he causes poison.
So apply your masteries in a different order.

But this will only help not to get neurotoxin at the start or “dash back”. It won’t change hitting his block.
