Energy
Since 2014, when I started playing, I always hated Energy. It was such a nuisance to deal with. However, I like to play both sides. Let's take a look at it from Kabam's perspective. Kabam at the end of the day is a company, most likely with two main objectives. To keep the player's interest in the game high, and to turn a profit. The current energy system promotes the monetary motive, however completely kills the player's interest. With the current energy system, you can earn a max of 240 energy a day in perfect conditions. Perfect conditions being that your energy is never full, so it has a charge time and can go up, and not sleeping. When quests take 3 energy per tile, with 240 energy max in a day, that is only 80 spaces you're able to move in a 24 hour period at perfect conditions. You may purchase energy refills to refill your energy, however, this is a burden. I see the current energy system as an angry mother forcing you to get off the game, except you can't sneak on and play more. You have to wait 18 minutes to be able to move another space in a 3 per tile quest. Up until this point, I've just talked about the problem and not my solution. My solution is very simple. In the game, it is possible to boost your champions and your profile as a whole with boosts. Here is my solution.
BEHOLD THE ENERGY BOOST!
I highly doubt I need to explain this, but I will! This would work very similar to the XP +50 boost, it lasts 12 hours and boosts EXP gain for that duration. However, this would make the Energy regeneration time 3 minutes per energy rather than the 6 minute. And since this could last for any duration and still help, I think this is a very needed fix for the game.
Trading
Woah Woah Woah! Hold your horses, please. There has been a ton of controversy over the idea of trade, however, there is a proper way to do it in my opinion. A ton of people are worried about scammers, people begging, ect. With my ideology on the trade situation, I think I found a perfect middle ground.
To prevent scamming, the trade would work in ways of requests, rather than live. This way, people can trade while the other party is offline. I am no visual effect genius, but I have worked out a prototype of how trading would work, please take a look.


This showcases the trade button and interface. You'd only be able to trade with someone if they are either your friend or in your alliance and the trade has a similar Power Index swap on both sides. This prevents people trading one stars and four stars from alternate accounts and elimnates scammers.
This next showcase shows how the request would work. It would work almost like a Gift Notification.
With these precautions in effect, it would be really hard to scam people and turn a victor in a trade. Trades should be even and fair amongst both parties. This also wouldn't affect the economy too much since it is most of the time going to be a 1:1 ratio of PI exchange.
Alliances
Now I only have one complaint about alliances. Alliances still don't have emblems. Alliances have had emblems in the "coming soon" stage for a long time. Honestly, this could give alliances so much more traction. I mean look at it!
