Corvus as an Abyss main

Hi guys, I am debating trying the abyss.
I think I want to make a personal path, probably start with Darkhawk and work my way to the easy path from there, so I can skip Mephisto.
I do not have a 5* ageon nor do I have a Torch.
I do have both Doom and Nick Fury as 5/65. And I am pretty skilled with my Corvus. And I want to give it a shot with him.
I am trying to figure out what counters I will find along the way. I might probably take Doom and Nick with me.
Are there any counters I should also consider?
I have:
Omega, Sabretooth, Domino, Warlock, Thing, Cap IW, Claire, Nebula, Venom at 5/65
Sym sup, Rulk, Darkhawk, Elsa at 4/55
4* Max Aegon.

I might take Proxima for the evade charge with Corvus. If I can spare the spot.

I normally do not run MD, but can activate it up to rank 3. And I normally run suicide masteries.
I have roughly 10k units. And will be farming revives and potions beforehand.

If you want to go for Abyss without AEgon you definitely want to take Corvus with you too for Collector. I recently explored whole Abyss but my first path was without AEgon and it was really painful experience.

But I'm not sure if Corvus could be good main damage dealer. If you are willing to throw lot of units it sure could be done but if I were you I'd look around to lvl up some other damage dealer.

Also if you want to go through Darkhawk and avoid Meph, only path you have left is through OML which requires Heal Block/Reversal and Havok which requires counter too (even though his detonation doesn't deal too much damage).

Highly, highly discourage relying on corvus in abyss.

@Fenico I was thinking about Warlock, eventhou it would take ages.

@ScottCHarbach1 noted. Would exploring act 6 be a better option to aquire my first t5cc? My highest is at 55%, the others below 20%

Since you have r5 Sabre don't you by any chance have 4* or above Sasquatch for him?

@Fenico I have seen Brian do it. Didn't seem too great, but I might have misjudged that. Corvus might actually be worse.
I don't really care if it takes all 10k units or if it takes 8 hours.
I only care about it being possible. Or if I will find a road block.

I used Sabretooth, Sasquatch, Corvus, Sym Supreme and Void for my first path. Corvus works ok for the tech fights and the collector, but Sabretooth is far and away the better clearer. It’s not even close

With aegon do you use sp1 to built up the combo? Or sp3 for stuns?

Definitely sp1 if I'm ramping up... If I remember correctly it has 6 hits so you can get 18 hits from from 3 sp1 for cost of sp3 which has only 2 hits. Stun is nice and all but you can easily archive it by parrying too.

Taking your team as an example. What if I switch Void With Magneto and do the Darkhawk Path, with Oldman, And use magneto for darkhawk and oldman.

Yeah I think took path 1. If your Red Hulk is duped he can take the fight but I don’t know if that’s a good idea.

As for taking the darkhawk path, I think you would be fine. If you could reach your first SP3 with Sabretooth before Havok kills you, you’ll be fine, but that’s a big if. I haven’t done that path so it might be best to consult someone else

If your Doom is R2, take him over Sym supreme. I’m not sure what makes doom better than Sym for abyss, but yours is already ranked, and those additional skirmish and warfare charges will be important

And I might just unitman Havok if it is needed.

Don't underestimate Luke Cage though. Unless you are really good at Intercepts it would be quite challenging.

Darkhawk, luke cage paths are much harder than so cold easy path, you should focus on that for first clear. Also, don't overestimate Mephisto, he is not that bad, attack values are not that high in the abyss and his aura does not do that much damage. I have done that fight with different champs, human torch is not necessary.
