How many units worth of revives is recommended for an initial abyss clear?

I used roughly 3k, although I had an optimal team (aegon, doom, torch, fury). I had 7 L1 revives, 1 L2 revive, and 1 L3 revive stashed before going in. About 1k went towards me being a dummy while facing Collector.
