Did I like many others fall for the classic Kabam bait & switch gag?

Is Throne Breaker coming this wk?

Or can i get my T5C I used for my R3!

Like I said nice lil bonus but no one should r3 a champ thats not worthy for it. Just wait until you get one who is and then do it. In future if the other benefits come that they mentioned then it might be different but not there yet.

Absolutely. That's what I meant. Anyone who isn't obviously in this target demographic should be just sitting back for now. Wait for the offers to go live and then you can actually make an informed decision

I've actually been thinking about it ever since the announcement. I decided to push to complete Act 6 whereas I was inching my way through it almost itemless before, just to be in position to pull the trigger if I decided to do so. But I still thought I would hold off, as I think having dry powder in your bag is always valuable to keep around.

Then I saw @Worknprogress 's roster update, and said well what the heck was I fretting about and just pulled the trigger. There's nothing like a supernova to make you stop caring about your favorite brand of sunscreen.

In all seriousness, this will sound backwards, but I try to play for fun, not transactionally, and that's why I decided to become Thronebreaker. There's a place for efficiency, but sometimes you just have to take the plunge and not worry about whether you're making the perfect decision or not. i did not rank a dud by any means, but I did rank a champ I don't play often and aren't the best at playing. This will encourage me to git gud with that particular champ, so there's that.

I get the whole min max ultra efficiency ideal that people strive for sometimes. I do feel there's a time and place for it though.

While I definitely don't encourage thoughtless rankups, I do think that thinking every rankup has to be perfect is almost just as detrimental. If a champion can be useful and help you clear content, it's not a bad rankup. Rank resources aren't finite, there will always be more eventually.

I'm fully aware I'm playing in a completely different situation than almost everyone in game when it comes to decision making. That's really only been the case over the last year and a half though. I wasn't a heavy spender until I was already done with Act 5. I spent most of my time up to then with a horrendous roster and just made the best of what I had. Sym spidey was my first R4 5* bc I had already had one t2a expire.

Congrats on the Ghost rankup though, she's more than worth spending the time with to get comfortable with her. I've always been a fan of diving in and ranking champs to make myself get comfortable with them myself.

I know, woe is me. But Ghost is only a top 2 champ on paper. If I was in the Ghost armor, Antman and the Wasp would have been only twenty minutes long and ended with me stuck phased halfway through a bathroom door.

I'm still not even big on Blade. I've been Quaking a long time, but generally I find myself less attracted to the hype. Not always. Doom, HT, Warlock, for example. I'm a bit more into niches. Elsa is my new preoccupation. Love Tigra. Air-Walker is the next misunderstood Champ, if you ask me.
