Summoners, you know it by a few different names: Hades, Underworld, Netherworld… Hell. And that, our dearest Summoners, is where we must ask you to go.

Mephisto commands that you ride with Cosmic Ghost Rider and restore Hell to the state of familiar chaos it once was. Enter special Limbo Quests throughout the week to recover Lost Souls and Skeleton Keys, which you can use to unlock Mephisto’s Hades Invasions. Clean up the map defeating Champions and gathering up rewards scattered throughout Hades. Complete 7 Deadly Sins Solo Objectives and partake in the Punishing Arena to earn Special Monsters & Hunters crystal shards and more!

LIMBO QUESTS

Each quest will consist of a single (1) path with three (3) fights + Boss fight. These quests will award you Skeleton Keys, which can then be used in Mephisto’s Hades Invasions, according to its assigned Difficulties, e.g. Legendary Invasion will require a Legendary Key. You will also accumulate the Lost Souls of sinners condemned to wander the endless torments of limbo, whether you like it or not. Keep reading, those Lost Souls will serve you well...

No free lunch in Hell, so this is the total Energy cost per Difficulty:
Legendary: 16
Epic: 16
Master: 8
Heroic: 8

MEPHISTO'S HADES INVASIONS

You made it. Welcome to Hell.

You will be taken through a total of five (5) quests. It’s tough enough to be in Hell, so hereon you will expend NO ENERGY. You will receive one (1) new quest on the first day; and then further new quests will reveal itself to you every five (5) days, so heed the timeline per quest. Each quest will consist of three (3) fights + Boss fight. As mentioned previously, you will need Skeleton Keys in order to unlock the gates to Hell, e.g. Legendary Key is required to unlock the Legendary gates of Hell. You will be rewarded with many a splendour along the quest paths, and also receive Gold, for those so inclined to Complete and Explore.
Important note: You MUST complete the path in order to claim all rewards on the path. If you exit the path before completing it, the rewards will be returned to the path. You can only claim the rewards on the path ONCE. The paths will be unlocked permanently once you’ve unlocked them the first time.

Trade in all the Lost Souls collected for special boosts for use in the Hades Invasions.

Mephisto acknowledges the...challenge...that will no doubt arise for mere mortals in the underworld, and so he has granted you all the benefit of Soul Boosts (exclusive to Mephisto’s Hades Invasions). You may have suspected, but any benefit from the underworld comes at a cost. Remember those Lost Souls you accumulated? This is where you can trade them in for your Soul Boosts. Each Soul Boost will cost you 100 Lost Souls.

And, here is all we know about the various types of Soul Boosts:

Soul of Wrath - The Attacker is Immune to Incinerate. Whenever an Incinerate fails to apply to the Attacker due to an Immunity, the Defender gains a Fury Passive, increasing Attack Rating by 40% for 8 second(s). This Boost can only be used in the "Hades Invasions" Quest.

Soul of Sloth - The Attacker is Immune to Coldsnap. Whenever a Coldsnap fails to apply to the Attacker due to an Immunity and the Defender isn't Stunned, the Defender gains an Evade charge, granting 100% chance to Evade the next attack for 6 second(s). 1 Evade charge(s) are removed when the Defender Evades. This Boost can only be used in the "Hades Invasions" Quest.

Soul of Envy - The Attacker is Immune to Poison. Whenever a Poison fails to apply to the Attacker due to an Immunity, the Defender gains an Unstoppable Buff for 7 second(s). This Boost can only be used in the "Hades Invasions" Quest.

Soul of Pride - The Attacker is Immune to Bleed. Whenever a Bleed fails to apply to the Attacker due to an Immunity, the Defender gains 20% of a Bar of Power. This Boost can only be used in the "Hades Invasions" Quest.

Soul of Greed - The Attacker is Immune to Shock. Whenever a Shock fails to apply to the Attacker due to an Immunity, the Defender Regenerates 10% of their maximum health over 2 second(s). The Regeneration has an 8 second cooldown. This Boost can only be used in the "Hades Invasions" Quest.

More on Lost Souls…
The thirst for souls in Hades has put you in yet another advantageous position with your accumulated Lost Souls. Rumour has it, Mephisto will also take Lost Souls in exchange for Skeleton Keys, should you wish to go the extra mile in Hades.

Here is the deal:

150 Lost Souls for a Master OR Heroic Key

In between Mephisto’s bidding, you may also want to indulge in one, two or... seven... positively sinful side gigs for even more rewards, the likes of Gold, Attack Boosts, Arena Boost Crystals, Energy Refills, Champion Boosts, Health Boosts and sinfully special Profile Badges.

One:
Give in to GREED; open Golden, Greater Golden or Uncollected Golden Crystals.

Two:
Unleash your WRATH; win fights by dealing the finishing blow with a Special Attack 2.

Three:
Take PRIDE in your work; win all your fights in an Arena Series.

Four:
Make a SLOTH of your opponent; perform Dextrous dodges by dodging an opponent's attack at the moment of impact.

Five:
Give in to LUST; defeat Champions involved in Romance Synergy.

Six:
See a Champion you like on the arm of another Summoner? Open Monsters & Hunters Crystals and satisfy your ENVY.

Feed your GLUTTONY; consume any level single Health Potion or Revive.

But be forewarned, this Arena is named the Punishing Arena for a reason! There are only Milestone rewards in this Arena and there are no Rank rewards. HOT TIP: 1-Stars should give out the most points and 5-Stars the least amount of points.

Luckily, this situation is very different than the last one, and the crystals have not gone live yet. They will also be delayed while we figure out our plan of action.

Is it this quest when you could run a team of under 10,000 for the 10% T5CC shard crystal on legendary difficulty?
If so, it's only natural that players would have run the quest for a second time to go for the shard crystal.

A solution could be to remove all shards from the game and compensate everyone with the max single day shards.

Doesn't affect me but if kabam suspends one person its ridiculous especially since some of the items are meant to be farmable. Its their messup and if you don't read the forums you might not catch on that only some of rewards are meant to be farmable. Take away the extra shards, restart the quest when its live, and move on. Don't compound your mistake with pissing off your base for your error

I ran it 3 times before a guild mate said it was a bug, then I stopped immediately.
They're not going to suspend anyone right? There was a replay button and i didn't even think about it.
I'm worried now. Please don't suspend us. I'll happily sell these keys or just remove them from my inventory.

You are allowed to farm the keys, no worries there. I expect they can remove the excess shards as the crystal is still unavailable, and all will be well.

Can't see a need to ban in this case.

How many times have people been banned for getting rewards they were not entitled to? And yet people persist in taking rewards they are not entitled to, then complaining when they get banned.

It's unbelievable that players be afraid of ban because of kabam's mistakes, this is the second time it happens just like krakoa.
Kabam fix your bugs and don't blame your clients for your problems, it's like if someone enter my house and leave a suitcase with money and then I'm being accused of theft.

What it is ACTUALLY like is if someone told you their house got robbed last month because he did not lock his door, then a month later you go to his house, find the door unlocked, go in and rob him, then complain that you should not be arrested for burglary because he should have known to lock his door after getting robbed last month. Should he lock his door? Yes, absolutely. Does it make it ok to rob him if he didn't? No, absolutely not.

Stop running quests multiple times if you are receiving rewards you're not supposed to be getting. It's not that difficult a concept.

Its a confusing quest. Some of the rewards are farmable while others are not. I can see many ppl being confused about it. You made the mistake in a confusing quest so dont ban people just take away rewards. Again it doesn't effect me just don't think ppl should be banned for this.

I somehow can't see this being the case as we would need to egregiously contest our credit card bills.

In my opinion, this is way different than last time. Last time there was end game stuff on the line. t5cc 6 star shards t5b infinite. That is game breaking and people going for it knew so.

Lets say someone, just balls to the walls ran this from release to the time kabam pulled it.
1) they spent energy
2) They have (at best) 30-40 fgmcs in their pocket that they haven't even been able to open yet.
3) fgmcs, wont break the balance of the game
4) no one can even open the crystals yet and if kabam wants to reverse the shards, they can

Wasn’t supposed to start for almost another hour from now, yet seems like ppl and screenshots say it had started 7 hours sooner that the 10am PDT (1pm EDT) time listed in Announcement ???

It acctually like saying the house isnt locked and you can swing by at any time, when you leave they give you a non refundable gift and then say you robbed them, whoever ran this quest again didnt think to himself "wow i can exploit this" , they thought "wow what a great farmable quest" i personally tried to get a batch of enemies that will make it easier for me to complete the mission for a 10% of a t5cc, i didnt care about the shards and i still dont care about them, if you ask me this side quest is great even without any of those shards, but if theyre gonna give those shards away with any completion, this is their faul, now people are terrified over the thought of getting banned for a week over a mistake which has been done on kabams side, last month the rewards exploited were 5* ag, units 5* shards and crystals, and in large quantities, now it is just stupid shards for a probably **** crystal which wont change any roster, so do me a favor and please stop accusing other summoners without understanding the problem.

I am also tired of kabam banning ppl for their own mistakes. I didnt take advantage of either but its bad buisness that they are doing it. You make these side quests as confusing as possible, force ppl to read the patches or go to the forums to know if things are even bugs, and then punish your consumers when you make a mistake. Take away the extra rewards and move on. Dont punish other ppl for your own mistakes.

But they also said shards are available ONCE per day. So if you're getting them more than once, you know it's a bug. They have also said countless times, that that exploiting bugs that give out more rewards than they are supposed to is TOS violation and can result in banning.

Now if they ban ppl who rant it twice and then stopped, I'd say that's unfair because you only found out about the extra shards bug after completion of 2nd run. But I have absolutely no sympathy who did run after run after run when this scenario has come up so many times and they know that people got banned for it in the past.

And to go back to the house analogy, if your buddy told you to come in any time, and by the way, go ahead and take $100 once a day, but you see $1000 and decide to take it all, is that theft?

@Kabam Miike Set crystal purchase limit..as per the max crystals shards available..

Say, max crystal shards possible from side quest, arena and objectives are 10k..each crystal costs 2k.. set purchase limit to 5.. This automatically nullifies "grinded" shards..

I think running each different difficulty once is allowed, but running the same difficulty isn't which some folks have been doing it seems.

I guess they aren't allowing anyone to access their Monsters and Heroes crystal shards? I have only gotten some from the arena and solo objectives, but can't find them anywhere...

Is there supposed to be the level 40 and level 55 restrictions for epic and legendary difficulty in the Hades Invasions? I easily got one key for the epic difficulty before the limbo quest was removed, but now I don’t even have the chance to use it, as I am level 39.

What key I did the quest once got 400 monster shards and that was it was we supposed to get a key

Edit: all I got was 400 monster shards nothing else at all are you supposed to buy they keys with them or was I supposed to get other stuff

From the first post I was supposed to get monster shards and something to use as currency I didn’t get the currency

Edit2: I got gold just not what they said. And I said what was the final fight rewards not just beatin the boss

The key is awarded in the fight rewards box after you beat the boss, not the quest completion rewards.

Check your inventory.
