What was the point of the new game client?

What was the point of pushing out a new game client that DOESN'T fix:

The game crashing to desktop when you start a fight, once an hour
UI issues where stars are missing
UI issues where buttons have no padding

These are just the most obvious bugs that I assumed the new update would fix. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Yes, I've seen that, my point was that they had a load of other really obvious fixes to make that they didn't put into this update.

Pretty much everyone is experiencing the game crashing issue, if they play over an hour, and the UI issues are just an obvious, easy fix.

Pretty much everyone is experiencing the game crashing issue, if they play over an hour, and the UI issues are just an obvious, easy fix.

I haven’t crashed once; and maybe they aren’t done with those fixes yet. Stuff with code can be more problematic than you might initially think.
