Was reading a thread about HT and how bad he is and why he's over rated. So i decided to Partial Solo the Cav final boss, there's many many ways you can use HT for short...medium... or long fights. Any how i cannot post any vids but decided to take some screenshots. Yes CGR will make you Degen Shets loads if you don't play right.






Partial Solo because i had NF after his Decoy so did a quick fire 20%. Which then gave me a 20% attack boost to just finish of the 80% using HT. I have Solo'd him using HT as the Nova Flames just melts him quick.

    HT with prefight activated can kill anyone (except nodes applying autobleed like caltrops, bio hazard..and few act 6 bosses)

    If anyone could give me advice about his rotation that would be great, please. I love him but I feel like I don't use him the right way when I don't use his prefight ability. I usually go for LML (temperature 20), but I struggle to get 7 flames and therefore get the nova flames.
    Any advice?

    It's basically just Parry, MLM and occasionally charge Heavies to keep your temperature topped up. Sp2 if you want a longer stun to keep your temperature up, Sp3 if you want a big Nova Flames phase. Don't try to hard to enter Nova Flames naturally if the opponent isn't playing ball. He still does crazy damage with normal incinerates and you don't want to play risky just to enter Nova Flames.

    Don't get me wrong, I like him, have r2 6* and use him quite often. Soloed cav cgr myself with him. Would prefer bwcv or sym supreme for the fight, but if you're lucky, ht can work. And his playstyle is pretty straight. You just want more flames on your opponent and higher temperature on you. Hyperion for example can be used in many different ways. Torch - not even close. Most of the time you play either mlm, or parry-charge heavy, p2 for long stun to charge heavy, sp3 to get more damage of your incinerates, sp1 - never. Activate pre fight if you need to. And that's it

    depending on who you're fighting it changes. against mystics i use him way differently than against other classes. non Mystic though I just build temp to SP2, fire it and burn them with a steady dose of 5Hit, Parry Heavies lol. if necessary, I repeat to an SP3.

    And don’t run suicides with HT. Bleeding shortens his incinerate duration. He will be extremely underwhelming in that case.
