These are the same people that use offers instead of playing the game to progress. They're not doing all that content.

No one is being forced to rank up a 6* champion to R3. The choice is yours.

If you value being thronebreaker so much, it wouldn't even be an issue in the first place to rank up any odd champion.
Imagine having all these debates, and then Kabam don't even release any thronebreaker deals.

If giving TB better offers keeps the whales spending and makes it so I can continue to enjoy playing my game mostly FTP then I say it’s a good thing.
Not saying all TB are whales, but I’m sure most, if not all, whales are TB.

Way more expensive and roster dependent for TB than a single path through 6.1

I mean 1 path of abyss gives you a 100% chance to get TB if you want it.....

Lets put this into proper perspective. Thronebreaker was clearly rushed out before cyber weekend, why? Because they will have better offers for Thronebreaker, that's the whole point. This is not even a question whether there will be better offers, of course it will.

Oh, definitely agree there. I still think they made it too easy to get personally. Leaving it as such low hanging fruit makes people it's not remotely aimed at think that it is

Agree but that will always be an issue when you dont target story progress but rather roster progress. People dont understand that just because they can get it does not mean it is targeted to them, but rather they set the bar much lower than the target to help eliminate RNG at the target.

Lets put this into proper perspective. Thronebreaker was clearly rushed out before cyber weekend, why? Because they will have better offers for Thronebreaker, that's the whole point. This is not even a question whether there will be better offers, of course it will.

I don’t think it was rushed because of cyber Monday, they were just forced to change how they do titles when they had to get rid of story content from the game. Once there’s no story mode, how do you gate it?

Edit - 7.1 was planned for a summer release, if it was released in july then 7.2 comes out in October, so TB would’ve started in October with 7.2 completion

It would be useful to know from Kabam if different offers are planned for Throne Breaker. Dont know if I'm alone but I have rank up options I could do to get the title, just not in any particular rush because I don't need a rank 3 for anything at the moment. Cyber weekend is a big opportunity so I would rank up if its going to make a big difference to the offers

Actually just wait and see! If the offers are different and you wanna get them, you can do the rankup and get TB deals that weekend.

I really doubt they are going to give an offier that would on its own get people to TB, that would make TB pretty pointless, they may offer a t5cc frag selector that could help you get there, but not like a full t5cc.

Yeah right now my best 2 options for mutant are Domino and Emma Frost. I have a 6 star awakening gem and I'm holding the rank up for now because I don't want too use r3 resources on either one. Domino's value in the game have diminished significantly and Emma Frost isn't suicide friendly as most of her damage comes from her sp2.

Enough, play the game and get good. Has nothing to do with whaling. Throne breaker is for people who have been playing for years and have done a lot of content. If you have done neither, the title is not for you. Go back and explore some content to get rewards and grow your account as everyone else who has been playing for years did. We earned the title by paying our dues and doing content. I've been playing daily for 4 years. That's how I grew my account. Not from "whaling". Do you play daily, and if so for how long?

The offers should be different. Cavlier is an extremely easy title to achieve by comparison to Thronebreaker.
