Posts from kabam Mike, if you read the post carefully and with the amount of Groot lovers on the forums I think its very logical to assume Groot is getting buffed by December. I do feel sad though they are about to nerf/buff our dearly beloved Groot who has enjoyed being in super beyond god tier to some measly god tier or beyond god tier. My 5* Groot has no complaints though.

too bad his future seeing ability wasn't that great since Groot is not getting a buff, i cant wait to see the disappointment because no one said he was lol everyone assume and ran with it, i have an idea who is from a good source but its def not Groot and im going to leave it at that but i think we all will be happy once everyone find out.
