Doom too op defender now

Guys Doom needs fix asap. He is just too op now. Even before he had:

Unblock SP1
Insane armor and critresist
Very big damage and block pen

Those all are just pain in the backside, but the new feature when his SP2 shuts the whole game down is just too overpowered, so please fix this one thing and he is fine, but at the current state he is just op

He throws SP2:

Second hit swoosh
Beam from hands and my screen goes black, I am returned to my home screen and have to launch the game again

Well, it‘s not really about a Bug ... I would call it the overall bad performance on certain devices. But that’s nothing they can/want to fix. The game is complex and if the hardware is too weak to handle all those mechanics (of newer Champs) plus 500 crazy nodes ... well, not in their hands.

Easiest solution would be to add some minimum specs a phone should have to run this game or even exclude phones from MCOC (like other games do) ... but this would be really unpopular after all these years and resulting in player loss (cause not everyone would buy a better phone).

But most games always had necessary minimum specs for PC ...

I would have to know what the OP is running and if it's still supported or not, but that's information we give in the Bugs Section. I haven't seen that thus far.

You are probably right, this should be regular bug report, but Doom has been a little bit frustrating for me and instead of adding to a stocked pile of crashing reports, I chose to joke around this common issue a little bit.

3 things:
1) I have had this issue with unnoded Dooms (except for normal global boost+Warning!)

2) this has become an issue only recently, I havent had this issue until about a month ago (still same device)

3) instead of doing minimal requirements, I would opt for animations scaling with the HW the game runs on.

What phone are you using? It’s likely an old one, in which case he’s not an OP defender, your phone is just underpowered lol

I am using Galaxy Tab A (2019), but that is irrelevant, since this issue emerged a month ago. On the very same device I have been encountering Doom for over 9 months and there has never been an issue (in fact, the SP2 used to run really smoothly).

I think a lot of people saying “this is going over everyone’s head” and “why can’t people read” don’t realize what half of the responses are.

I understand you are saying the L2 lag is disgusting, even crashable at times. We on the forums have done all we can to report the bug, because the OP talks about it. So, while kabam fixes it, we are offering SOLUTIONS to get around the bug. If you never push Doom to L1, which is simple enough on most nodes, you never have to see the L2, and never run the risk of your game crashing. So, by mitigating the annoying nature of the L1, the issue is as solved as it can be. Stop saying people can’t read when YOU can’t read in between the lines.

Sure there are people who did just read the title and post away, but I've seen plenty that aren’t that.

Can u dex iron mans sp1 ? If so then you can dex Doom’s sp1. The trick is 3-4 hit combos and dex back. He will miss you with the hand. And all that is left is the beam. One dex and it wont hit you Want real good practice do map 1 AQ for a straight month. You will be perfect for the timing of any Doom after that

I still don't know why people compare Doom SP1 to Ironman SP1.

Doom's SP1 is 3 hits beam
IM SP1 is 1 hit beam

More accurate comparisons are:
Iceman SP1
Cyclops SP1
Possibly IP SP1 (only 2 hits)

I'm using a Samsung s10e and have never had this issue or lags. Been evading his sp1 & sp2 without the issues you've described.

Guys just for the record:
Doom is fine to fight even without bringing a counter. Baiting and Dexing his SP1 is easy and even tho he is basically crit proof (I tried today, CapIW 88 hits 0 critical).

However, I think it is my "right" to be able to let Doom launch his SP2. I would like if they fixed it back to couple months ago, whrn it used to run much smoother

There was absolutely no reason to give him "Block Penetration" as a statistic. Everything else is whatever, but when he stun immune and you not having a "defensive champ" to counter, you unfortunately will take some heavy damage right into your block. And that is extremely annoying.

Just solo'd a r3 6* doom war boss yesterday, I think he's fine.

As far as the lag goes, I've never had an issue. Sounds like a phone problem.
