Let's talk about the new cavalier difficulty objective...

Really? I mean, really? This again? Really?!

Is this Kabam's idea of "rotating the special objective every month"? Not like cavalier difficulty isn't already a freakishly long grind with high ranked 5*s and 6*s, but now we have this stupid objective again?!

I'll pass this time, because I know how stressful it was the first time around.

It’s honestly ridiculous. They recycle so much and if you notice, the first time they announced this would be the objective. This time they left it as a surprise. Hmmm I wonder why...couldn’t possibly be because they knew they’d get nothing but backlash for putting emphasis on 4*’s that cavalier and TB’s can’t even use. Gee....I bet next month the objective is use a team of 10k PI or lower! 😂 what a joke

That is a possibility. These objectives aren't easy to make, and take a lot of time to set up. We're still tweaking and adjusting Cavalier difficulty, and made a number of changes this month that should make Cavalier Difficulty less time consuming, and the easy path even easier.

But with tweaking content constantly, we don't know exactly what it's going to look like in a few months, and can't commit to creating new objectives that may be completely redundant in a month's time. Especially ones that are this complicated (though they look very easy, I can assure you, they are not!)

What does a special objective for this month have anything to do with what Cav EQ looks like a few months from now?? You could make a special objective for just this month then never use it again...

There are 6 classes, 180+ champs, many abilities and the only thing you guys can come up with are 2 special objectives? Nah...it’s just laziness or lack of creativity...or both

@Kabam Miike but i think you guys know you got a lot of bad backlash for this objective............so why not tweak it at least so you just beat the boss with a 4 star(or below) with whatever teams you want. This is just a huge annoyance for those looking to do these objectives and probably a lot of people are now gonna skip it. This could have gone differently

Then I’ll just use my top champs, leave 2% on the boss, quit the fight, and have my 4* deal the final hit.

I didn’t played last month’s event quest rewards are underwhelming. Side quest was good though.

Maybe tweak the real problem with cav eq, the rewards, and listen to the 99% of the player base that want a rewards buff

Who uses 4*s in content like act 6, war or AQ? 4*s are basically arena only nowadays, and are of no effectual use to players beyond a certain point, which should be obvious. Obviously, someone doing something like cavalier difficulty won't bother using 4*s in many content, so why should the objective for it include them?

The above would already have been argued extensively, but what's annoying is the recycling.

If you guys are only gonna keep doing challenges that rely on 4 star or lower PI champs to clear, it's kind of a slap in the face of the cavalier title. Not only can u not use 4 stars to obtain cavalier but lower PI champs just get wrecked if u bring them into act 6. Wasn't part of reason you locked 4 stars out of act 6 was because the content was going to be to challenging and frustrating for 4 stars to be used? I may be misremembering but I believe that was one of the reasons.

They also locked 4*s from act 6 to sabotage you from bringing champs along just for synergy purposes.

To be blunt, they did that to implement a roster progression gate. Everything else is handwaving and color commentary.

Honestly its just flat out lazy at this point. Same nodes as past 2 Cav eq. And same challenge as the first one.
