**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

They did say before book 2 so we know it’s in the next 6 weeks. I’m personally hoping they wait till the first week of December, since you’ll have about 44 days to use the items before they expire.

Actually @Octoberstack we do already have a tentative timeline for compensation, Kabam committed to providing it before Book 2's release. To that end, December update is probably most likely, but it shouldn't hurt Kabam just to tell us that.

Great sleuthing @Octoberstack ! Great to see it being acknowledged at least. I'm hoping we'll see it with the November update also, but expect it'll be with the December update.

If it takes until after Black Friday, it is out of pure greed. There is no reason it should take several months after all act 6 changes are live to issue compensation. Let alone acknowledge it..
It depends on how you look at it. Since no new content has been released since march, a lot of players would have no use for the compensation if it showed up now. Everything would just expire and get wasted before the book 2 release. If they at least wait till after cyber Monday, players who have no content to do currently would be able to use those consumables on 7.1. To me, releasing the compensation knowing that for many players ir would just expire before they had something to use on is the greed you’re talking about.

You make a good point. If compensation dropped now in the form of expiring consumables, players would have 30 days to claim it, and a further 14 days before it expires in the stash.

This might be just enough to last until Book 2/Act 7 drops in December. Hell, it might even be exactly what players need for an early Act 7 legends run. But it would all depend on whether that content drops as scheduled, and isn’t delayed to the end of the month (or early next year).

From that perspective, deliberately delaying the compensation would make some sense. Though if this was the reasoning behind the delay, some transparency would definitely not go amiss.
I never thought about it this way. Most of the people who 100% act 6 probably have all content done so it would make sense to wait until 7.1 is released but if that is the plan just announce it though. That way we stop asking questions which is still no excuse for not getting an answer already. Either way Abyss is getting done after cyber weekend for me at this point so it doesn't matter to me either way.
I agree, there’s absolutely no harm in getting a few updates along the way.

Though I anticipate that the game team have a lot on their plate these days, what with scheduling champion buffs, organising the 2021 vote, preparing Act 7 for release, and planning EOY events like Cyber Weekend and the 6th anniversary week. With that in mind it’s plausible that there isn’t even a tentative timeline for the compensation that they can announce, even if they wanted too. All speculation, who really knows.

Either way, wishing you the best of luck with your final Abyss path (and subsequent rewards)!
Thanks man. Right now my prestige is 11.1k well below my alliance's average. My goal is 11.7k after I complete Abyss and that's a conservative guess if not much goes well. So we'll see. Thanks, I'll have 15k units after cyber weekend so this last path shouldn't be too tough even if I play bad.

That is assuming compensation is in the form of standard revives/ health pots. There are plenty of easy ways to address that. Give higher level potions that people wouldn't have an excess of, give them in a unique format similar to love juice or maple syrup but with no expiration date, or best of all.. give it in the form of units. Potions = units so I don't see why you couldn't multiply however many potions you were going to give by the unit cost and give that instead. But I suspect they especially wouldn't want to do that because of Black Friday. Regardless, none of that excuses the fact that they won't even comment on or acknowledge the issue, when people at the least want an answer one way or the other so they know how to plan their item usage.
I mean we do have an answer, we know it’s before book 2 which means December

I think for the people asking like myself that is not specific enough. Also, we don't just take Kabam's word when they say compensation will be in before book 2. That is subject to change just like summer of pain changed. That's what makes an update important, it confirms that things are on schedule. So i would agree with the previous guy that you can't take that information to bank.

Yes, it would. An update would prove that things are on schedule and therefore I would trust the answer. When they haven't been specific in quite sometime, I lose confidence in things that they claimed back when they first did dev diaries. My trust in Kabam isn't black and white.

It's just different for everyone. For me, the longer it's delayed, the better the odds there would be content i could use it on. For you, you want to do abyss now so now is ideal.

    Hey All,

We have not forgotten about this, and have mentioned that we would let you all know when there is more information coming. We don't have a finalized date yet but are aiming to have the final rounds of Compensation out at the beginning of December.

Thank you all for your patience.

Thank you so much for your answer @Kabam Miike ! It's what I expected, but it's so good to know it wasn't forgotten about and will be within the planned timelines.

After all our stubbornness, we got an answer!! :D

So dissapointing... exploring act 6 today is more than 10k units cheaper (or 15k) than four months ago... and im totally sure that they will compensate us with simple revives and energy refills... maybe ill be wrong but this probably will be one of the most unfair things kabam ever make

i respectfully disagree im not the best player in Mcoc I'm average at best i do have a large roster thou and i did act 6 months ago and i spent 4k units tops and most was on act 6.2 so 10k units or 15k units is crazy who ever spent that much shouldn't do act 6 i don't even think abyss cost that much for completion.
