Doom with suicides

So I just pulled myself a 5* Doom after running incursions for this month (basic crystals for the win), which is great, but I run suicides 24/7. I already have Claire Voyant maxed out, so is it really worth ranking Doom up? I don't care about prestige and I get the basic downfall of the fact that he uses special attacks so much, but is there a suicide friendly playstyle with him, or am I just doomed (I know) to never use him?

Even though you have Claire, Doom's power control is much better and he's a God of the Abyss, so definitely worth ranking either way. As far as a suicide-friendly rotation, you're really going to have to feel out the matchup. You can probably get away with only throwing a 2 or 3 Sp1 or 2's. Good news is he's not a champ you'd use in every fight, so you can get away with ranking him up even though he's not very suicide friendly.

Yeah, I've played around with him on suicides. Wasn't a great time...

If you're running suicides, forget about him being a path clearer. Does good enough for specific fights, but there is no "suicides friendly rotation" that doesn't ruin his effectiveness.

But like I said, good enough for a few path fights with suicides, just not an entire quest clearer like he is without.

I run suicides pretty much all the time and have both BWCV and Doom at R5. Doom is still extraordinarily useful, but mostly as a counter to some spots. BWCV is much more sustainable with suicides to clear paths and do day to day heavy lifting.

I turned off my suicides for a bit couple months ago and the roles were reversed. I used Doom everywhere and his damage felt much better than BWCV without suicides. I think both are very worthy R5 for almost any account, suicides just influence who is a daily driver and who is a weekend car.

I don’t use him much at all with suicides on, it really gimps him. I have a few champs like that where I just save up the paths I need to use them on, turn suicides off for a few days and smash it all out.

Doom is my main heavylifter. But I don't run suicides. You can also play him if you turn off suicides and it is defo worth it.

He’s okay with suicides, as long as you’re not using him for the whole path. He can do 3-4 fights if you play him well. I have him as a 6* and a 5*, as well as BWCV, so for a power control path I actually take both Dooms with me.
