yeah i can't remember when that change was made from free but it was. something about spreading costs or what not

One of the bg's in your ally is running map 6 probably. The logic for spreading the tickets was everyone in the ally gets the rewards, so they should pay the same.

No. 3 battlegroups of map 5 is free. When other battlegroups are doing 6 or 7 then those doing map 5 also have to pay tickets.
Ticket system is dumb though I gotta pay either 110k gold or like 19k battlechips for 15 tickets to join aq.
