The REASON science class sucks like Dyson

ITS OLD!!!
I won’t deny that science class has a fair amount of champions and a few are good:

Hulk: Gold Standard and a favorite go-to of mine

Classic Cap… eh B+ champion solid niche
WWII: A-

YJ is okay defensively but is outdated

Same with Quake (although she was nerfed thanks to the new war map) offensively and defensively she’s a moderately decent champ with a great synergy!

Spider Classic and Miles are also decent defenders and miles has offensive niches that make him solid

But the rest?

Abomination: Suffers from beta syndrome. Even a 10% chance to poison with each attack and a mild armor reduction on poisoned enemies wouldn’t break him like AA/Voodoo

Luke Cage… give him the chance to shake off armor breaks based on Physical resistance, and 30/60/90% chance to gain an invincible charge with L1-L2-L3 respectively (maybe exhaustion can also lower enemy crit resistance).
His niche is outdone by Magik, Juggs, UC, and soon Kingpin and Mephisto as well as Morningstar Who each bring better “don’t touch me” utility or just ignores parry regularly

AntMan: scale up poison or increase weakness trigger rates (maybe not much as he’s a good defender at least)

She-Hulk… would some… I dunno passive cruelty passed on enemy buffs work?

Spidergwen she was a gimmick! It works for NC but that’s clearly offensive and defensive! Merge her modes and she’ll be a good champ.

Joe Fixit… Candidit for the new carry-over mechanic! Each times he wins he gets a permanent roll at the start of each fight (each one is random and cannot be changed with heavy attack)

These are kinda drastic but given they are the class with the MOST outdated abilities and are meant to counter the UNGODLY MYSTIC CLASS(!!!) they need a little something something as they’ve been forgotten. Take these and water them down a bit if you need to but please consider them as something HAS to be done about this…

Maybe She-Hulk could work with a reverse Hulk-Rage… she gets a HUGE cruelty buff that gets smaller as she loses health? I want to keep her passive as she doesn’t trigger MD and I want to keep her that way so it’d be passive if anything

And I know there are more pressing matters but this is a pet peeve of mine since… the mystic conclave event when Voodoo and Mordo hit the scene

Both Skill and Mutant just got massive boons, then Cosmic got on the right path after Mystic, then GP and another mystic event, then MORE mutant and more cosmic before a LOT of amazing tech and then KP/Medusa both looking great and now 3 decent-great Mystics And not even an update for science… yeah they had a lot and other classes need to catch up but Kabam was going through a phase for a bunch of them. SGwen, Fixit, LC and Shulk were experimental and by the the time they started getting creating it was too late to let science get a sweet taste of it.

Just thought about She hulk buff yesterday.
Make her heavies the way it is + deal increased damage based on the amount she has stunned the opponent
And give her heavies a chance to stun the opponent again cause using heavys consecutively is kinda quarky mechanics but would make her fighting desing slightly better.

And then onto her dupe ability. Keep it the way that it is. So she reduces a specific stat of a specific champion. But make it so that it increases over time.
So at the start of a fight she reduces the stat by 5,5% (max dupe here) and continually researches the opponent over a minute and increasing it by x%( the ammount that the sig is, and at max its 5,5%) every 5sec
So basiccly if you are in a fight longer than a minute youll have 71,5% reduction of the stat

So the stats as i recal are
Mutant :special damage
Skill: crit chance? Or damage?
Tech: ability accuracy
Cosmic: buff duration
Science: physical resistance
Mystic: power rate/gain?

So the reduction from these stats doesnt sound to OP but would make her significantly better

Doesn't she trigger MD? I see a temporary Fury buff icon coming and going when she heavy attacks a stunned opponent.

I think a non-buff improvement would be good, though. Making her Sig escalate through the fight sounds good; but what she really needs is a greater chance to proc Stuns. 45% on her S1 is very poor, given that stunning is her primary offense.

Alternately, if not more Stuns, why not an armour break or increased armour penetration on criticals?

She shouldn’t be proc-ing fury. (Might be her pummel in which case don’t heavy…still better than a random fury) And yes her stuns could stand to gain from an increase chance. I however am kinda partial to a Crit/cruelty boost linked to her health. She could either end up as a discount hulk or a reverse hulk. I just think Jennifer Walters deserves better. And I don’t have her sig… what does it do?

Actually the armor penetration… maybe THAT could help her stand out… literal pure damage. As far as armor Break I think armor removal or SHATTER would be more appropriate given she HAS a portion of Hulk’s strength but has all her intelligence…

Also something for Luke Cage the 30-60-90 chance to gain an indestructible could be linked to sig level so that’s:
Specials attacks gain 20% chance to provide indestructible per bar of energy used (L1 20, L2 40, L3 60) maxing our at 33% per bar consumed
