How good is guardian?

So I just spent a while grinding arena so that I could get the gamma from the objectives and open the 5* featured. I pulled this guy.

So I’m pretty sure I’ve heard he’s good but best at high sig. Is that true? And what should I know about him?

So I agree that a class gem is worth it but not a generic unless you’ve got a 6* ghost or don’t want to learn/play ghost

@zeezee57 i had already looked on aunt mai at what his sig does. My question was why does it make so much of a difference when playing him? It seems to me that all he needs to be really good is his base stats and his awakened ability just makes it so that you take less damage when getting hit.

It boosts his sustainability substantially, giving him near perfect block on parries. As well as incredibly high energy resistance that negates most energy damage combined with willpower.
It also lets him heal from bleeds.
