I'd like to thank the sadistic genius that thought it would be cute to put that Powerful from Afar Nova on EVERY path on the right side. Trash fight is trash.

Thing is more annoying tbh. I used Venom for Nova and kept stealing the Fury. Plus hit damage really shoots up with aptitude+L2
I tried using Angela against Thing and every hit just triggers his protection. Geez.

(Found a roundabout way. Use sp3 and you’ll take off 40-50% life in one sp3.)
Oh Thing for me wasn't hard due to protection tbh. It just was that he refused to throw specials sometimes. Between trying to bait and maintaining the stacks as well, if he turtled, it all went to ****
Could try to start baiting him from sp1. You can just ignore the rock stacks even if he has 15 and below a bar of power. Powerful from Afar will solve the “getting him to 1 bar of power” issue for you.

I realize it’s times when I’m greedy and trying to get him to sp2 before I start baiting that I miscue and eat sp3s.

I bait from Sp1 only. Never care about the special I'm baiting tbh. Its just that he turtled a lot and refused to throw specials. Didn't have to use any revives, but did die a couple times

I'm going for my final run, and switching to Magneto... can you use sp3, or does it consume the prowess first?

After a couple of failed experiments, the low skill way to do it is use Angela and take the block damage.

Mine is a R1 6* unawakened, and I just play Nova super close. Bait the heavy, swipe back and then hit away. Evade Sp1 when you are able but blocking it really isn’t that awful.

I’ve worked with Mags, but I run into a couple of issues: Prowess sometimes falls off before I want and my timing the Mags heavy counter to Nova’s heavy can be a little off.

Other option I’ve tried is Hypo, and he works well in clean-up for me. I try to save him for Abom, and he makes that fight a laugher.

No 5*\6* restrictions for entering the level so you can bring 4* or whatever for synergies.
Doom can take any of the buffed up fights in this level. Use dex buff before sp3, make sure aura is off before throwing sp3.

Nuked that Nova with Venom on all my runs. If you keep baiting his sp1 the fight is not that bad. Venom also “eats” most times his power from afar power gain buff with his sp1, if you fire it from the right distance.

Angela just get to sp3 with 20 precision’s and he is dead

Angela was awesome for thing. With the powerful from afar node, you dont even need to hit into his block if he reaches 15 rock stacks. And sp3 from angela took him out everytime, just need to make sure he does not have protection

My friend, magneto makes this fight a piece of cake. 3 bars of power, 37 prowess and nova is done.

Personally used Quake and Magneto for those paths. And heimdal, magik, and angela for synergies so that quake would have 3 buffs.

Hate the nova fight, but mags makes easy work of it, and quake can do pretty much everything else

Cracks me up seeing this...really glad i dodged the bullet for a 3rd time i decided straight up that i will never do cavalier till they change up the nodes on a monthly basis like they do for UC. Sure i missing out on rewards but rather miss out then get frustrated and waste resources that could go towards Act 6 and Abyss.

Secondly you can all disagree my post all you want but you know i am right!.

Colossus can tank 5-6 SP3 from Nova bc of his armor ups. He should do some good damage + he can take Mephisto as well.
