Infinity Streak? What the heck?

I keep hearing about an infinity streak in relation to the arena, but with the abysmal lack of even a basic glossary for this game,I am having a heck of a time finding out what that actually is. Obviously it's not someone who never ever loses an arena match. Kabam has made sure that is pretty much a physical impossibility with death squads that double ur team rating again every time u beat them. So what, exactly, is the infinity streak all about?

    For the 4* Basic I only use 4/40 and 5/50 so with those you can get very easy matches, only the one at streak 6 or 7 is the most difficult.

    Now I have to make myself sound like a total idiot. Thanks for the info guys, unfortunately I am still not getting it. What is the whole point of doing it? Does it increase ur point return? Or does it just make higher # streak fights easier? I am still trying to figure out how the word infinite even applies. I feel like a total dunce. This is why I wish there was some kind of strategy guide I could just buy & read. I am obviously missing a basic precept that is necessary to getting it.

    The reason as for why many people use it is because it gives the most points in the least amount of time, hence very efficient, because the opponents are relatively easy in the end and your streak stays at x3

    Yes, you can use above instructions or find other way which is suitable to you.
    I use bit different at the beginning.
    1-4 4* r3/4
    5- 10 2x5*r1 + 1*
    and after that 5*r4/5 6r1/2

    Infinity streak is heavily impacted by the PI of your champions.

    If you run suicides and a few of the masteries that heavily bump PI, then it makes the streak point lower.

    I figured out how the streak works, but all those strange #s everybody posted don't jive with what I've discovered. Essentially, after I beat the 2.5 multiplier, I go to the top of my roster & begin working down. Maxed out champs 1st, & then as I run out of those, I find that, generally if I keep at least 2 rank 5 or 4 max on the team, my infinite streak will continue(with the occasional challenge series thrown in to keep me on my toes) my infinity will run pretty reliably at least til 88 in the win streak, which is my pvp record. I see guys with 300 pvp win records & it blows my mind. By 88 series, I've usu invested hours. How the heck long does 300 series take? When I got to 88, I was so sick of the game I had to take a 2 break. But, anyhow, just wanted to say time cleared up the mystery for me, but I do appreciate everyone's efforts to do so. Thank u.
