The Deals are pretty bomb considering what you get for what you spend. Not sure why people are comparing them to July 4th. Two different ball games. What I think the real issue is, is that people expected them to get them to Thronebreaker, and that was an assumption.

This would be a part of why people expected that. The language is more than just suggestive of that notion.

It’s fine that TB get sweet deals. But it’s totally not fine that the team decides to dump on other progression tiers. Progression titles in game have always seemed ad hoc, uneven and in some respects, self-serving, and this type of offer stratification reinforces that idea.

It's not because we assume they will. It's because people put in double-time developing all kinds of expectations. Expectations inevitably lead to disappointment. Assuming they would include the means to hit Thronebreaker was just an assumption. Let's detach and look at it logically. Let's say they do include it. Then we have a large pocket of people who are at Thronebreaker, and much sooner down the road, we need another progression separator. Look at the availability of T5CCs. They're not going to open the flood gates all in one day. That's insanity, at the very least from a design standpoint.

Okay, well, you've shared your thought, please move on to another of the 50 threads that you are posting to. This thread overwhelmingly is related to disappointment with the cav deals. You liked them? Great, glad for you, then move along, you have seemingly nothing else to add.

Btw congrats on breaking the 25k post mark... whats the rare title that you get for that milestone? Trollbreaker?

I feel so disappointed. For last years cyber deals and this years 4th of July j didn't have enough units. As a f2p played im just missing t5cc to get throne breaker. I saved up 4k units hoping to get something t5cc crystals or something and not even t5b. Im still ticked that thronebreaker requires a rank 3 6 star but the fact that it is really hard for me to get t5cc and was hoping something useful was going to come out. Seeing the difference between the thronebreaker and cav deals is sickening. Is it my fault I don't have a rank 3 even though I cleared all required content? It isnt enough that my past 7 6 star pulls have been garbage (joe fixing, iron man, cyclops (both) civil warrior, jugg, and dorm) you have you shun all the cav players. Maybe you should have been like hey what will help the cav players get to throne breaker? T5cc! Instead of hey cav players see what you could get if you were to pay money?

So done with you. Like an abusive girlfriend. Ill take it but really hate it at times.

Here’s the future: I’m not spending anything after today. No more featured Cavs, which I bought a lot of, no more daily Cav deals, and no renewal of my sigil when it expires.

This ain’t hard, stuff, Mike. But somehow your company found a way to screw it up. Just bizarre. All the good will from the road map — vanished into the ditch. Sucks, because I love this game, but I don’t deal well with getting the middle finger from someone who wants my money.

If this overwhelming response from the players surprises you or anyone else at Kabam, then something is wrong with you folks.

Been a player for 5+ years. Haven’t been this disappointed since patch 12.1 and all the nerfs. This is a blatant slap in the face to cavalier players. Completely tone deaf to their needs. The whole needing a R3 6* for thronebreaker is bs to begin with. Now, the disparity between the two levels has become a chasm. I finished 6.4. I have 44k units I’ve saved and was ready to spend $150-$200 today to get closer to thronebreaker. None of these deals do that. None. Won’t spend a penny now and keep saving units to maybe do Abyss...if I don’t quit. Was hoping for a reason to reinvigorate my interest, but instead was blatantly told to go away.

So people’s opinion have no value for kabam. You guys are still buying the offers why are you complaining, a lot of people in my alliance complained and yet a few mins later they posted the champion they got on the line app. So what’s the point kabam only wants your money and we are giving it to them regardless so nothing is going to change.

Was trying to decide whether to spend on t4cc selector crystal to get the last 10% i need for a rank 3 or a ps5. Not upset with the offers since they made the decision easy. I guess I'll be spending less time in game and more time on my new ps5. Thanks for helping me make the decision kabam. For anyone else upset with the deals. Take what they are offering or invest your money in a new hobby. There are some great games coming out on play station. There is no reason to continue complaining since the game team has decided these are the offers you deserve and that's final. If you are still playing next year this time or decide to start back up around next cyber weekend you can check the deals then and see if they are more relevant to your accounts progression.

I’m a cavalier player who did one pass on all of act 6 before tb was created. I am 20% from having a t5cosmic and 40% or so from mystic. I bought 5 100$ gift cards with the points on my credit card to use today. Was hoping to be able to level up doom or corvus 6* to r3. I have no use for t5b or t2a have been ranking champs just to do it. 5* shards there isn’t anything I really want so have been hording till apocalypse is added at 25k or so. Don’t know what to do with these gift cards now. Xmas is coming up Mabee I’m done with my shopping

So don’t be confused why people are pissed that 1) Kabam created a stupid progression path to TB and then 2) toned down the deals rather than improved them from July, which is clearly what they had been doing from offer to offer, year to year.

This is a giant middle finger to the players. You can suck up all you want. Doesn’t change a thing.

I’m a new player to this game, been playing for about 8 months and I’m on 6.3, right now my focus is getting more 5* to rank 5 and if I’m planning for the future getting 6* to rank 2. But for me these deals don’t seem to even satisfy that requirement and I’m on the lower end of the spectrum of cavalier players. The lack of t5b was disappointing, I would have liked to see more shards in the unit deals, a couple of these offers seemed to be aimed at players with even less developed accounts. I actually feel bad for players who only need to form a t5cc or pull the right champion to become TB. seems like kabam really missed what they should have been focused on. even though it’s unlikely, hoping some last min changes will be made.

Disappointment is a good life lesson, you will have other disappointments. Hopefully, you can manage it better next time.

What Cavalier player who's at 6.3+ needs T4b from a unit deal? Please check the deals first. Read them clearly and then come back.
Let's look at this logically. They come out with a new bar to hit which separates Players based on progress. You have the biggest sale of the year coming up where loads of people spend, and the most rare Resource in the game is needed. Do you think they're going to add it so that many people can hit it all at once? Is it even a bar anymore?

Missing the point. I didn’t expect the offers to get me there on their own. However, for many who are on the cusp, the offers should give them a reasonable opportunity. The RNG for 6* and t5CC is already a ridiculous bar. However, offering a 5% and 10% RNG crystal is a slap in the face. If they aren’t selectors, at least make them a reasonable % so maybe good luck gives me a shot at getting closer. The opportunity for these shards is already extremely limited. How many cav players you know need t4cc or t4b?
