I want to thank you all for your feedback. I completely understand where our Cavalier players are coming from today (I'm a Cav player as well), and I wanted to let you know that I am going to be talking to the team about this, so we can learn from it for the future.
Thank you again for your constructive feedback.
Allowing players to sell t4cc for t5cc shards would be a good start for that discussion...and giving whoever in the marketing team a proper upside that thought the cav deals was a good idea
How does it help me to "learn for the future" if in these offers many of us have an extremely great disappointment and several (I include myself) with these "offers" I will definitely leave the game, it becomes more and more Pay yo win
I rarely post but must say I feel like Kabam is going too far catering to whales and spenders. Those who are upset with the offers should not only voice their feelings here, but on the App or Play Stores as well (1 star ratings and comments).
its sad, i was so excited for the offers, i first saw the thronebraker offers and i was even more excited, then i opened the game and was so dissapointed, they ruined one of the best days for the game. they just want to increase the gap between the FTP and the whales, to lead the ftp players to spend money, and thats awful. YOU LET YOUR WHOLE COMMUNITY DOWN @Kabam Miike@Kabam Zibiit@Kabam Vydious
19 pages in under 7 hours? Let me guess: cavalier players aren't happy with the deals. GW defended them and then proceeds to argue w/everyone on the forum for 18 straight pages.
So disappointed there wasn’t t5cc selectors for cavalier. Competed first run through of act 6 today. I’m only 15% from completing a mutant t5 to R3 domino and be throne breaker. Kabam seriously dropped the ball on this one.

Have been fealing the games just not what it used to be. There is nothing exciting anymore. Skill isn’t enough anymore. It’s like I’m just playing so I don’t let the group down yet they make me made enough to go on forms Mabee it is time to just stop
Cavaliers just became Uncollected 🤣 Cavaliers should have expect those deals since the the glory store update, that tied Cavalier to Uncollected title. Long live the Thronebreakers 👏

TOTAL BS!!! Why are you screwing over the Cav players @Kabam Miike
They don’t care they knew this would happen. They posted in advance that they wouldn’t change anything they new how we would feel and don’t care
I totally agree with this. They knew themselves how underwhelming the deals were when they put them together. They knew the big spenders are already thronebreaker so they didn't care about us lowly cav players. You can also tell by the generic “thank you for the feedback” response we got from kabam.
Someone should explain how exactly, with an evolving meta and increased presence of t5cc, 6-star shards and and t5b, you have to spend more than 5000 units or $50 to really touch that stuff.
Look at the game on July 4. Look at it now. The pool of cavalier players has improved even with the Thronebreakers out. So how do the offers get worse?

I have explored all variants, explored act 6.1-6.3. Am 14% away from a cosmic t5cc and 10% away from a mutant t5cc. Y’all really couldn’t have added a selector to the $100 dollar deal. I know somehow u thought this was a good move, but by making the gap from the TB to cav players astronomical with these deals. It is making us cav players not even want to progress in the game. Bc even if we do get TB the people that got these deals are Soooooo far ahead of u it’s disgusting. This is going to affect AW so much! I’m in p2-p3 ally and the amount of r3 defenders from the tb that got these deals are going to be disgusting. This didn’t just piss people off this may make people quit playing the game. Disappointed

At least you guys got T2Alphas in the Units offers ... not a Single T2Alpha for the Thronebreakers ... Seems like Thronebreakers don’t need T2Alphas I guess ...
I've been playing for 3 years and have been Cavalier for about 15 months. These deals were SO bad because you lumped us in with uncollected, news flash kabam, there is a huge skill difference between uncollected and Cavalier. Because of this you got no money from me today, i was prepared to spend $450 like i did on the July 4th deals but you had to screw us. Your loss Kabam. Keep up the great work guys, I'm looking forwaed to seeing what new ways you will screw us the next time.
its sad, i was so excited for the offers, i first saw the thronebraker offers and i was even more excited, then i opened the game and was so dissapointed, they ruined a nice day. they just want to increase the gap between the FTP and the whales, to lead the ftp players to spend money, and thats awful. @GroundedWisdom genuinely interested to hear what you think but correct me if I'm wrong.. you're not cav yet?
I am. The Deals are pretty bomb considering what you get for what you spend. Not sure why people are comparing them to July 4th. Two different ball games. What I think the real issue is, is that people expected them to get them to Thronebreaker, and that was an assumption.
This would be a part of why people expected that. The language is more than just suggestive of that notion.
It’s fine that TB get sweet deals. But it’s totally not fine that the team decides to dump on other progression tiers. Progression titles in game have always seemed ad hoc, uneven and in some respects, self-serving, and this type of offer stratification reinforces that idea.
Dr. Zola
The Email said THIS is your chance. As in do it in time for the Sale. Which is why that was sent out before it dropped. Why can we always predict that people are going to complain about these things? It's not because we assume they will. It's because people put in double-time developing all kinds of expectations. Expectations inevitably lead to disappointment. Assuming they would include the means to hit Thronebreaker was just an assumption. Let's detach and look at it logically. Let's say they do include it. Then we have a large pocket of people who are at Thronebreaker, and much sooner down the road, we need another progression separator. Look at the availability of T5CCs. They're not going to open the flood gates all in one day. That's insanity, at the very least from a design standpoint.
First: You apparently look at the email as if it were a PSA. I look at it as if it were a promo piece intended to stoke demand for in-game stuff during one of the game’s biggest revenue events.
There was an entire thread surrounding this particular email and how the offers would be stratified. The team knew there was concern about the offers in general (because there always is around BF offers), and there was ample opportunity for any member of the team to make the points you are making prior to Black Friday. They didn’t, to my knowledge.
Second: This is a for-profit phone game, not the Olympics. I’m tired of people talking about titles as if they are sacrosanct or involve some sort of act by the Papacy. They are not and they do not. I would guess that progression titles were more or less ginned up to sell more stuff—stuff that gets sold everywhere anyway. Just last week, they sold 10% T5c selectors for $50 with a limit of 2. Anyone who has completed Act 6 and done all the Cavalier EQ content (but not Abyss) and has had even marginal luck is close to a single T5c and could have used one or more of those deals—without ever buying any other T5c deals—to form a full T5c. If you bought every single T5c selector offer, I suspect you might even be to form a full T5c without even doing any Cav EQ content or Abyss. With that in mind, it is hard for me to see how the TB/R3 requirement is anything more than arbitrary.
Third: I had low to no expectations. And still I was disappointed. That’s quite an accomplishment.
Dr. Zola
So......people made an assumption and it was their fault? That about it? That IS the requirement. You can justify it however you like, but that's what's required for the Title. Those are the markers. The proverbial lines in the sand. In this case, those that have an R3 and have completed Act 6, and those that haven't. You might think it's arbitrary, but necessary it remains.
Not sure how the point got lost, but I think we were talking about the offers and how they were promoted.
My point is that not only did the team appear to suggest their offers would help progression, but that even the arguments made regarding the sanctity of progression titles are undermined by efforts to monetize them.
I’m guessing from reactions to said offers—here and elsewhere—that I’m not alone in my interpretation.
Dr. Zola
Nowhere did they say the Offers would get people to Thronebreaker. That was an assumption people made.
Did they literally, explicitly, without and qualification say: “These offers will get you Thronebreaker!” No, of course not.
I’m beginning to think I’m arguing with Drax here...
Dr. Zola
When you're talking about insinuating it's their fault people assumed as much, then literally, explicitly applies here.
I’m not even sure what point you are failing to make here, but it is their fault.
Who controls the flow of information in game? Who owns the accounts under the ToS (a point developer apologists love to make)? Who has the ability to create the offers? Who communicates offers and other terms and conditions via in-game email? Who drafts the language that goes in those emails? Who runs the forums? For that matter, who tends to be reluctant to supply much of the most basic game documentation?
It isn’t the players.
This isn’t a new game; the team has navigated Black Friday and Christmas and July 4 several times. The game has a history. Things are often not stated “literally” or “explicitly.”
For one example, the concept of offers changing when titles change wasn’t “literally, explicitly” stated in the messaging the past two major deal events. And yet they did change.
I’m not sure why you seem to think the community should be to blame for in-game communication (and lack of communication) they have no control over, but I suspect that’s at the root of why you don’t see a lot of support for your positions in this thread.
I decided not to spend anything and ended up getting a Two-Faced crystal to celebrate saving all that money. Hello 5* Nexus, and hello a Blade awakening.
Grounded you have made your argument over and over, we get it. Are you on Kabam’s payroll? Quit flooding the comment sections, we have noted your opinion now let others speak theirs.
I see. So unless I'm ranting about how the Offers are a "slap in the face", I'm not supposed to comment?
You have the right to comment. You have a right to an opinion. Its just the non stop onslaught of pro kabam garbage that is wrong. How many people have you debated in this chat on behalf of Kabam and how you feel there offers are good. I mean is it really neccessarry to repeat the same ideas over and over again, just to different people so you can keep trolling the thread.
We get it you worship Kabam.
For the rest of us who have the ability to think for themselves we feel that there offers sucked
So....unless I agree, don't speak. Sorry, I won't be obliging.
You clearly didn't read the first few lines of my post.
Oh, I did. You essentially said I have the right to my opinion, but then proceeded to pigeonhole my opinion.
You pigeonhole yourself repeating the same thing over and over again
As opposed to "The Offers suck. Kabam doesn't care about us. Slap in the face."....over and over and over?
Those are opinions from ALOT of different people venting. Your need to post your opinion against so many people is what doesn't make sense. Why the desperation to argue with so many people if your not just trolling.
Dude just check his account - he has massive downvotes.. he does this all the time Always to suck up for Kabam no matter how disastrous their decisions
I am new Cavalier. I need T5b and T2a. I am totally disappointed with the Cavalier Cyber Monday deals. I won't be spending. It is a big let down from the July 4th deals.

Took me a minute for what I was seeing. When it finally clicked.... I just slowly put my money away and logged off.
Havent logged back in since.
