Hey guys,I want to thank you all for your feedback. I completely understand where our Cavalier players are coming from today (I'm a Cav player as well), and I wanted to let you know that I am going to be talking to the team about this, so we can learn from it for the future.Thank you again for your constructive feedback.
They don’t care they knew this would happen. They posted in advance that they wouldn’t change anything they new how we would feel and don’t care
They don’t care they knew this would happen. They posted in advance that they wouldn’t change anything they new how we would feel and don’t care I totally agree with this. They knew themselves how underwhelming the deals were when they put them together. They knew the big spenders are already thronebreaker so they didn't care about us lowly cav players. You can also tell by the generic “thank you for the feedback” response we got from kabam.
I hope Kabam is enjoying all that money they're losing this weekend. If I had to guess I would say probably 25% of Cavaliers spent money.

TOTAL BS!!! Why are you screwing over the Cav players @Kabam Miike
How did I know this would come? Lol. @GroundedWisdom genuinely interested to hear what you think but correct me if I'm wrong.. you're not cav yet? I am. The Deals are pretty bomb considering what you get for what you spend. Not sure why people are comparing them to July 4th. Two different ball games. What I think the real issue is, is that people expected them to get them to Thronebreaker, and that was an assumption. This would be a part of why people expected that. The language is more than just suggestive of that notion. It’s fine that TB get sweet deals. But it’s totally not fine that the team decides to dump on other progression tiers. Progression titles in game have always seemed ad hoc, uneven and in some respects, self-serving, and this type of offer stratification reinforces that idea.Dr. Zola The Email said THIS is your chance. As in do it in time for the Sale. Which is why that was sent out before it dropped. Why can we always predict that people are going to complain about these things? It's not because we assume they will. It's because people put in double-time developing all kinds of expectations. Expectations inevitably lead to disappointment. Assuming they would include the means to hit Thronebreaker was just an assumption. Let's detach and look at it logically. Let's say they do include it. Then we have a large pocket of people who are at Thronebreaker, and much sooner down the road, we need another progression separator. Look at the availability of T5CCs. They're not going to open the flood gates all in one day. That's insanity, at the very least from a design standpoint. First: You apparently look at the email as if it were a PSA. I look at it as if it were a promo piece intended to stoke demand for in-game stuff during one of the game’s biggest revenue events. There was an entire thread surrounding this particular email and how the offers would be stratified. The team knew there was concern about the offers in general (because there always is around BF offers), and there was ample opportunity for any member of the team to make the points you are making prior to Black Friday. They didn’t, to my knowledge. Second: This is a for-profit phone game, not the Olympics. I’m tired of people talking about titles as if they are sacrosanct or involve some sort of act by the Papacy. They are not and they do not. I would guess that progression titles were more or less ginned up to sell more stuff—stuff that gets sold everywhere anyway. Just last week, they sold 10% T5c selectors for $50 with a limit of 2. Anyone who has completed Act 6 and done all the Cavalier EQ content (but not Abyss) and has had even marginal luck is close to a single T5c and could have used one or more of those deals—without ever buying any other T5c deals—to form a full T5c. If you bought every single T5c selector offer, I suspect you might even be to form a full T5c without even doing any Cav EQ content or Abyss. With that in mind, it is hard for me to see how the TB/R3 requirement is anything more than arbitrary. Third: I had low to no expectations. And still I was disappointed. That’s quite an accomplishment. Dr. Zola So......people made an assumption and it was their fault? That about it?That IS the requirement. You can justify it however you like, but that's what's required for the Title. Those are the markers. The proverbial lines in the sand. In this case, those that have an R3 and have completed Act 6, and those that haven't. You might think it's arbitrary, but necessary it remains. Not sure how the point got lost, but I think we were talking about the offers and how they were promoted. My point is that not only did the team appear to suggest their offers would help progression, but that even the arguments made regarding the sanctity of progression titles are undermined by efforts to monetize them. I’m guessing from reactions to said offers—here and elsewhere—that I’m not alone in my interpretation. Dr. Zola Nowhere did they say the Offers would get people to Thronebreaker. That was an assumption people made. Did they literally, explicitly, without and qualification say: “These offers will get you Thronebreaker!” No, of course not. I’m beginning to think I’m arguing with Drax here...Dr. Zola When you're talking about insinuating it's their fault people assumed as much, then literally, explicitly applies here.

Grounded you have made your argument over and over, we get it. Are you on Kabam’s payroll? Quit flooding the comment sections, we have noted your opinion now let others speak theirs. I see. So unless I'm ranting about how the Offers are a "slap in the face", I'm not supposed to comment? You have the right to comment. You have a right to an opinion. Its just the non stop onslaught of pro kabam garbage that is wrong. How many people have you debated in this chat on behalf of Kabam and how you feel there offers are good. I mean is it really neccessarry to repeat the same ideas over and over again, just to different people so you can keep trolling the thread. We get it you worship Kabam. For the rest of us who have the ability to think for themselves we feel that there offers sucked So....unless I agree, don't speak. Sorry, I won't be obliging. You clearly didn't read the first few lines of my post. Oh, I did. You essentially said I have the right to my opinion, but then proceeded to pigeonhole my opinion. You pigeonhole yourself repeating the same thing over and over again As opposed to "The Offers suck. Kabam doesn't care about us. Slap in the face."....over and over and over? Those are opinions from ALOT of different people venting. Your need to post your opinion against so many people is what doesn't make sense. Why the desperation to argue with so many people if your not just trolling.

Grounded you have made your argument over and over, we get it. Are you on Kabam’s payroll? Quit flooding the comment sections, we have noted your opinion now let others speak theirs. I see. The lack of T5CCs might be the catalyst, pardon the pun, but that's just something that happens. If I hear Gwenpool Goes to the Movies one more time.....LMAO. People develop the expectation when things are too sweet. Agreed.BUTIts only something that happens when you offer people something that that theu dont need or doesnt bring them as much "VALUE"ANDCombined with the fact it costs kabam virtually nothing to manufacture other than server space it becomes a slap in the face with naturally high expectations.

Not only are the cash offers for cavalier underwhelming, the unit offers are awful for F2P players. Disappointment would be an understatement. Why on earth would cavalier players want t4bc as part of the 1000 unit deal? I already have 10 in overflow. It's part of the first Offer only. Which you still use them to Rank Champs. The fact that you need to buy an offer that isn’t worth it to unlock the next deal is bs. Compare this with the 4th of July deals earlier this year, this is awful. And I’ve already mentioned that I have over 10 overflowing so I would have already ranked up champs if I wanted to. You might, others might not. To the best of my knowledge, no one has outgrown T4CCs. At the very least, you need them to R2 a 6*. I said T4BC not T4CC. The offers are worse than 4th of July deals period. I don't know why people keep comparing them to the 4th of July deals. They have nothing to do with each other. The game would be in a sad state of affairs if they constantly had to do more every Offer. The bottom line is, you have a great deal of Resources that are offered this weekend which aren't normally offered for the price they are, regardless of what they gave before or what people think of them. I'm not ignorant. I get that people are disappointed with them. Anyone with reading capabilities could see that. I'm also aware that it will affect the outcome of sales after this. I get it. I'm just not comparing it to anything else. These Offers are stand-alone. Realistically, some people expected more towards TB. I understand that. Some even thought they'd be hitting TB with the Offers and scooping up more. A nice idea, but not a reasonable thing to assume. I'm speaking from experience. Anytime I let the hamster run and start building expectations, I end up setting myself up for disappointment because things rarely line up when they pan out. Which is why I've adopted a wait-and-see approach. I just don't think catastrophizing and making claims of a slap in the face, or the myriad of other exaggerations are really appropriate to the situation. When people are saying it's their fault that their expectations weren't met, that's not really true. No one knew anything about what was coming. People filled in the blanks in their own minds. I can understand that people wanted more, but I have to point out when these expectations aren't reasonable. I don't think it's reasonable for the game to know exactly what each of us need personally, and I don't think it's reasonable to think everyone that's Cav would get the Cat they needed to hit TB in one day. I don’t know why you’re trying to change my mind. The deal may be ‘great’ to you but to me it isn’t. I’m not saying that every-time there’s an offer it has to be exactly the same as the previous, at-least make it reasonable is what I’m asking.Based on the past deals/ offers, you’d somewhat get a decent idea around what they’ll be offering so how would it be unreasonable for me to assume. I’m just stating that the offers are very underwhelming especially for beginner cavalier players and those who really need that push to get those t5cc fragments to get them to TB. I have to look at what's offered for what they're asking. That’s like saying it’s reasonable to be offered a premium hero crystal rather than a 4 star hero crystal because “you can’t look at its value based on what’s been offered before”. That’s what it feels like.
