Your logic and reasoning skills are wildly oscillating on this thread. Maybe you can get a title for goalpost mover.
Pointing out that the Title is much easier than it was originally intended is a direct comparison. It would have been aimed at people who had many R3s, after doing the original iteration of Act 7, before it was neutered. We all saw how pleasant of an experience that would have been.
Comparing the price of apples doesn't contradict comparing the price of apples versus oranges.
1 You release a new title into the game, thronebreaker, and two months later you add offers into the Black Friday deals for thronebreaker players that represent a very small percentage of your player base. This was ok and expected although giving us a heads up about this sooner would have been preferred as I'm sure some people would have put more effort into becoming thrown breaker before Black Friday had they known sooner.
2 Then, and this is where the problems start, when you were figuring out the offers themselves y'all decided to put the best stuff possible, taking into consideration the current meta of the game, into the thronebreaker offers. Did y'all stop to think that thronebreakers represent a very small percentage of your player base because it's only been available for two months? And right before the holidays 😑. Yeah because everybody has so much free time this time of year, Smh 🙄.
3 now here's where the proverbial you know what hit the fan. When you came to the point where you were figuring out the offers for cavalier you did not take into consideration that these are the players that are trying to become thrown breaker and that cavalier players make up the majority of your player base. Meaning that most of the current players in the game are at the cavalier level. Instead of filling the offers with resources that would have aided players in acquiring the thronebreaker title y'all downgraded them (didn't improve them, I'm sorry but y'all dropped the ball) when compared to the offers we received on July 4th. Back in July the difference in the offers between uncollected and cavalier was drastic but most players were cavalier by that point so you were catering to the majority of your player base. That stopped this past Friday and everyone took notice except your marketing team 🤨
4 A lot of players that spend in this game, especially the part of your player base that doesn't have a lot of free time, rely on these offers to help advance their accounts so they can knock out personal content and better help their teammates in group content. On July 4th I'd say IMO my account was advanced a giant leap because of the offers presented that weekend. They allowed me to struggle a lot less in the group content and helped me clear a bunch of personal content. I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you this but also not sorry, the offers presented this past Friday did not help advance my account. I received far less six star hero crystal shards. You completely removed them from the $50 unit offers 🤣. I received far less rank up materials as far as rank up materials that I can use on any champion I have because the Odin offers were geared towards five star champions. I'm trying to rank up six stars not five stars. Why? Because I want the thronebreaker title.
5 Now let's talk about the actual act of spending on this game this past Friday and how it left everybody feeling that did spend money. Yeah I spent money in the unit store but I didn't spend as much as I usually do and I wasn't as happy to spend it. I felt like I had no choice but to buy it because this is what was going to be offered to me until July 4th and I felt I had to take what I could get. That leaves a salty taste in your mouth, it was a very unpleasant experience. Now let's move on to the unit offers. Again what were you thinking? Worthless, completely worthless. Most of your cavalier community completely skipped over them because in no way would they be worth the amount of units you're asking for them. Those offers aren't going to drastically advance my account and help me acquire the thronebreaker title. I don't know who was in charge of the actual unit offers but y'all need to hold a meeting with them.
now taking all of this into consideration I realize that you stated in the email that you sent everybody in the game before Black Friday that the offers would not be modified or changed throughout the weekend. I understand your position on this, but y'all backed to yourself into the corner on your own. However there's still a way out.
After the sale has concluded y'all need to get to work and look at everybody that bought the cavalier offers. Not the unit offers, I'm talking about the unit store offers. Hardly any of the community that's upset by this entire scenario bought those unit offers but a lot of us achingly and begrudgingly did buy the unit store offers. Once you've figured out who bought what y'all need to send out a reparations package based on what each player bought with an apology.
You can still make this right kabam, the ball is in your court. Don't let your fans down this time, were all watching and waiting.
I doubt that’s the case. Few, if any, people are proposing that Cavs should have been able to buy a full T5c (or even most of one) this weekend. To the contrary, most posts I’ve seen appreciate the notion of incrementalism.
Put that way, it’s likely more than 120 players, but it doesn’t translate into the droves of players buying their way to TB this weekend you are implying.
Since you’re into game balance, I assume you’re upset TBs—even freshly minted ones who just crawled (or bought their way) over the line—were able to whale out this weekend with hordes of 6* crystals at a ~1/3 discount versus lower progression tiers. The sheer volume of new 6*’s let loose in the game this weekend is probably fairly staggering.

The T5cc deals are not very relevant. They are small usually 4500 a pop, unless you have a steady flow coming in, it won’t make or break your account.
Kabam has made it clear they want to separate the players and I’m sure they did this because cavalier players were able to progress significantly faster then what they should have been, next thing you know , you have players beating act 6 with R3 champs. You see this happening in older content where people are going into act 6.1 and even 100% act 5 with 2-3 5/65 champs. Once they get to the level of a true thronebreaker, they don’t have the skills to complete it.
We saw this happen with the champion boss and players quit. In order to progress the struggling cavalier players they actually nerfed the content to push more players into higher tier progression.
I guess my point is , cavalier players benefited a ton from top tier players because Kabam bundled deals.
