A maxed 2* with 3x multiplier gives a little less than 6k points. It won't be a pleasant grind, but it is doable.
I think its wrong, because they putted the same event, but you would get in turn of 30 thousand points per 2 star. That’s what I don’t get it

Didn’t have time to check it out myself until just now, but here’s what I get:

I ran six rounds of 2* fights just now to see what it takes. Here are my calculations:

6 rounds took me a total of 12 minutes with all maxed 2*’s. I do not run suicides and I did not play carefully. Literally fought like playing slashed tires with a ton of heavies.

I also got zero delays or freezes and zero outside interruptions.

At the 3X multiple, I get about 18K points per round (assuming all three fights are wins).

Using that as a basis, 4 million points (less the ~60K I have right now) would require ~220 additional rounds.

If those rounds all take just 2 minutes apiece, then that would translate into a total of 440 minutes to reach 4 million points—or just under 8 hours—under similar, ideal conditions. I would add another hour plus in as a fudge factor for any snags and arrive at around 9 total hours invested over 7 days.

If that is the case, then it’s not entirely unreasonable. Probably rules out doing the 5* arena also, but more doable than originally estimated.

The irony is just amazing.
Kabam says "It´s half of a 6* crystal, that is hard to get. You have to work for it", while they literally gave Cavalier players the exact same amount of 6* shards for just logging into the game, and Thronebreaker players even twice the amount.
With so much content being released, I simply don´t want to spend that much time in the game grinding arena. I´ve already been busy with the side quest, the event quest and Act 7.1, and things like Variant 6 and the Halls of Fortune/Healing are still coming this month. We´re already spending so much time in the game this month, please realize that this needs to be cut down, Kabam...

As a few have already mentioned, that’s adding to the regular Arena, EQ, story quest plethora of side quests, AQ, wars.

Oor I can walk through 7.1 in maybe 2-3 hours (total, spread over however long you like) and get 10k 6* shards plus whatever else there is
If that suits your needs better than do that. No one is forcing you to do the arena.

I’m saying it’s easier and faster (lets be real, 7.1 is incredibly easy) to earn double the amount of 6* shards that you can from this “celebratory, thank you for playing” arena.

Honeslty, as of today I am tired of this game. I don't care about people's excuses for wasting their time and "stay positive" feel good yabber, and defending this company's bad communication and out of touch mindset.

I was annoyed with the Cyber Monday deals, but I still bought because I thought there'd be something better.
I was annoyed when the Cav calender was the same as the Uncollected. But I thought hey, its free stuff. There should be something better.
I was annoyed when Daredvil was so bad. But I thought its okay. Maybe he'll get better. If not, well I mean december has more stuff.

Now they made a ridiculously grindy arena as a "gift" and refuse to communicate. Shutting down the thread! Its a bad move. Traditionally leaders left negative media alive. You know why? Because people get to vent their frustration. I guess they don't want that too.

I thought they learned on Cyber Monday. I thought they learned after the calenders feedback. But I now I see that the only person who didn't learn is me. I cared about this game, about making my way through the story, about collecting champions and reaching higher levels. That's why I was dissappointed every single time when there was bad communication and getting shafted. I should learn to move on. I probably won't outright quit because I spent money. But this is supposed to be entertainment. I have better games that actually give content rather than put out mindless grinds and expect me to be greatful. I'll probably be back when Kabam gets their **** together.

That's the original road to 1million arena from december 2017. It's the same points multiplier system.
Yes 4x more points, but you have to get over 18 5* dupes to get that many 6* shards.

we are now 3 years in the future.. and you still think this system is acceptable for what is essentially an ''anniversary event''... we had an arena not soo long ago, where the points for 1 and 2 star champions were heavily inflated, and im sure thats what everyoone was expecting to happen with this one as well.. if you or anyone in fact is happy with the layout of the point system of this arena, then you quite frankly are not right in the head..
something like that in the screenshot.. a 60 something streak is managable, over a few days, but this is a ridiculous ask by anyone standards..

The top milestone in the 6* arena is 4mil. 1 mil for the 5* arena looks doable in comparison but would still take far too long & simply isn't worth it.

Guys. The 5* shard Arena last Year was around 60 rounds. It is this Year aswell. You also get 190 units, maybe a New 2* Champ and increased battle chips. 6 Star shards are still really Valuable for a lot of Players in the game. Especially free to play Players. And indeed ~220 rounds is a lot. But you COULD always do less. If you want Nice stuff you have to put in some effort. You already got half a 6 Star for free in your inbox. Now go get the second half by playing the game. Its only like 30 rounds a Day. That is 1 hour. With the stuff you get aside from the 6* shards that is not too much.
Eventhou I feel 2,5m would have been plenty to be fair.

If you guys think that's a lot of arena you must never play. I'll have these shards done this weekend without much effort.
It's a lot of arena for those of us who hate the arena lol. Kabam whiffed on this one. It's all good though. Still a great month.

Not me. I have 29 million gold and just took a 6* from R1 to R3. I use mostly gold for AQ tickets too, map 7

Alright, time to close this thread down. We understand that some of you are upset that this requires more effort than the 5-Star Shard arena, but it's half a 6-Star Crystal. Those are still incredibly valuable, and it should require more effort than the 5-Star Shards. Which most of you grind out in an afternoon and never look at again every time we run it.

Secondly, you do not have to do the entire Arena. You can grind for Milestones along the way and gather as much as you have time for.

There's still a lot of stuff going on this month, and we can't just hand out 6-star Shards left and right (even though we just did give 5k to Cavaliers, as well as 10k to Thronebreakers). You've still got a Holiday Calendar coming your way and even more content.

Why did you start this arena in the first place? To say that it's not meant to be done entirely? Very smart of you, boy. Truly most dumb answer I ever saw.

This is unbelievable to read. Can’t believe how this community is reacting to something they don’t have to do. Do what you can and that’s it . It doesn’t even cost energy refills. I’m embarrassed to see this especially considering none of this is mandatory.

Don’t do the arena . Or I have a better idea. Everytime you go on the forum to complain instead hop in arena. If you do that enough, you will hit every milestone Kabam has this week.

Updating my estimates...seven more rounds, this time taking closer to 2.5 minutes a round and yielding closer to 17.1K per round. Arena loading more slowly and fights not yielding as many points.

Which would suggest I still have 222ish rounds and an additional 9+ hours before I hit 4 million.

I've been grinding this arena for the past 2 hours and used all 94 of my 2*s. I have 350,000 points. 😑

Basically, I can spend every single day grinding arena for 2 hours and barely be over halfway to the final milestone. 😑
