Kabam was doing so great in this month but suddenly someone there decided to mess that up. These are supposed to be celebration arenas. Are they really? Please rethink.

But to be truly objective, the 6* shards arena has the most value per fight with the lowest roster requirement, at least in my opinion.

For most players, ten hours of fights and getting half of a 6* basic using just max ranked 2* champs is much more value than the same amount of time getting a featured 5* champion using 6* and ranked up 5* champs.

It's just that the highest value lies on top of a mountain of boring but easy fights that most people aren't used to committing to.

Having said that, I'm most probably dropping every other arena and focusing on getting those 5k 6* shards.

Value wise it’s great. But it’s a bit of a bummer for those who also wanted to grind for the lone featured champion this month. I was going to put in what was already a long grind for Spider-Ham, but since this arena spans the course of both featured runs i won’t be able to. That’s my biggest gripe with it. Let alone adding another 1-2* arena for the 5* shards, which is a nice chunk, and an additional chance at a featured pull I want. It just feels mismanaged.

I don’t even see an issue. Grind it out for the shards. 7 days is plenty of time to get the rewards, especially if you have never sold your champs. I got 120k+In 9 matches of 6*, not even using 25% of my roster.

I worked 10 hours, played catch with the kid, helped him with his homework. I did that while taking a **** and while on my elliptical for an hour. This isn't difficult at all. If you don't want to do it fine. Just stop crying that you won't get the shards.
That is a solid 3-4 hours of grinding at maximum efficiency.

Uhm, the fights are over in 20 hits. It is not that time consuming. I normally run 22-28m in the feature arena and get 300 6* shards. This is such a better value it's not even close.

Agree. In a vacuum, it has great value. The timing of it all is what makes it seem really bad.

I have 92 maxed two stars and it’s still a slog

90 here. I remember when I ran the 4* basic for Black Widow (her first run—like 2016) and had to use 3*’s and wake up an hour early to get a round in because each round netted me like 115K.

Look, if this is intentionally hard because they’re 6*’s, I get it. But they need to cut it down, because I’m not doing 800 fights this week for arena, just got half a 6*. And I’m no way would I have remaining time for the 5* arena. It’s the 6th anniversary? They should put a x6 multiplier on top of the x3 for your streak.

Lmao. Kabam must be having a smoke with this one. Look, nobody would be angry if the rewards were locked behind either fun OR engaging content. But you have managed to do neither. You've made the only way to get these "celebration rewards" a brainless, boring grind that caters to the 0.0001% of the playerbase willing to sit through hundreds of act 2 fights so they can have a chance at a 6* King Groot. Sure, rejoice if you're a basement dwelling neanderthal who is willing to burn away hours of their life or any hope of having a future - but for anyone else who doesn't fit the category it is evident that this CELEBRATION event is just a huge waste of time. It's a time sinker, sure - but it's the MOST BORING TIME SINKER IMAGINABLE. Look: why don't people complain about abyss? The time spent is the same! The difference is that you are doing something CHALLENGING. This "celebration" arena is not challenging. It is braindead. The whole freaking event is playing the same two star characters with no challenge, skill, or fun in general. Kabam seriously needs to rethink their approach, because all they've managed to do is alienate a large amount of their playerbase for an event that should only warrant celebration. You guys were looking for a summer of pain? Well this is it.

It's a catch-22. People can't spare it because they only Rank higher Champs. If you shift and do smaller Champs in the interim, it allocates Resources at a better pace. Mine is expiring.

No, it’s approximately 600 fights, or 200ish rounds of 3. Not bad at all for 5000 shards. Got plenty of 2*s maxed. I’m game.

Nope, the previous arenas of this kind were a lot quicker than ~200 streak (or whatever)
That arena is still available. This is the next step up, and definitely takes some more dedication.

If the point multiplayer is like this, let us use 3&4 star Champs too...or increase the Base point to 3.5k (from 1.5k)
