he pretty much needs his awakened ability unless you are super aggressive and use synergies. his synergies make him incredibly crazy, best synergies are juggernaut, omega red, and emma frost. he definitely deserves an awakening gem. i used mine a good bit in act 6, i do not have a 5 star emma frost, so he did not get as much usage as i would have hoped for.

hes defo worth the gem, get him to sig 60-70 ish, synergies for sure help, omega specifically imo is the most useful synergy, hes a great champion and will be useful to you in tons of content.
