Thing can be fate sealed now??

Was playing new EQ (Event Quest) and used Thing in order to take down new Scarlet Witch. But i noticed that Thing was getting Fate Sealed by her.... how is that possible if he's immune to all those effects???
Before anyone says that it is passive, let me just mention that Symbiote Supreme's fate seal is also passive, and yet he's immune to that.
This seems like a bug. Unless I'm wrong...

I see an immune callout there and a precision buff from dexterity. Did the fate seal actually prevent any buffs from triggering? It maybe like the bug where slowed champions proc unstoppable buffs but not any of the unstoppable effects.
