Will you offer full refunds for nerfing the mojo weakness path

You should offer full refunds to any player who beat that I mean units revives snd potions anything less is unacceptable

Yeah, the node was working perfectly. If you have the correct counters it was easy. If you used a 6* GG like me it was not. It's really that simple.

Didn't even try that path. That's what I saw and so that's why I commented on it. I don't have the right set up so I skipped that path and I'm still working on my completion run. Even with that node there this varient is a nice difficulty to me. Not too hard but still not a breeze for me.

If you spent revives and potions and units to get past content it means you were happy to do so.

Kabam doesn't usually compensate for things like this, so wouldn't hold your breathe.

However in the future, if you think something isn't working right then don't throw units at it to get it done, wait for it to be fixed.

I used to run that node path in AQ and certainly didn't notice anything off when I did the path in V6.

I rushed it. I’m not sure why I need compensation though.

I could have done the path a lot better than I did. I chose not to bring my 6* GG ‘cause I can’t stand him. It still wasn’t awful tbh, it cost me a few revives but it’s literally the only path in the entire Variant that poses any challenge. A good ⅔ can be done with a 4* Venom and one thumb.

There's a great risk in completing content quickly, but there's also a great payoff in some cases. If you want to reap the benefits of completing content early, then you have to be prepared for the consequences.

Changing the node at all was silly, this is a variant - it's always been about having some specific characters or expecting a rough time.

I would very much like some revives sent to my inbox for the 40 or so minutes + boosts + resources I put into slugging down the lane.

That's not to say I liked the lane but i was readily expecting it to stay the same due to the overall easiness of the rest of the quests.

I just blasted that path with no resonate and no items...thank god I had apoc...but if kabam wanna give me some extra goodies in name of compensation..much appreciated

I have no idea why they got rid of the node. I don’t believe that it was because of “technical issues” because it worked fine for me. I didn’t even use Void for most of the fights and I don’t have Resonate. I used Mojo and just slogged through it. Other than the Mojo at the start, the entire path is easy enough to do even without the weakness debuffs, it’s just long.
That being said, I do think that compensation is in order. Or, better yet, just have a backbone and put the node back in. Variants are supposed to be hard. If you can’t do it on the first day, wait. It’s not going anywhere.

And if you happen to be on the other side of things...if content gives extra rewards or is easier than intended (I recall an Iceman from boss rush that was a piece of cake if you did it early, not so much when he got fixed)—what then?

Is that an exploit? Should we just give all content a one week moratorium until the game team gets their $&*% together and fixes it? Who would find the bugs then—the testing team?

Kabam sells a product—if you think you aren’t providing them consideration because you are “free to play,” you’re fooling yourself. When that product is defective, the responsibility falls on them to fix and offer restitution.

It worked fine for me. I mean if you used a team revive on the first champion in a path that’s fully on you. I just backed out until I killed him cleanly. I’m now very good at fighting mojo ✌️

There’s also some delicious irony at work here...Mojo wasn’t in it because he hadn’t been released yet, but anyone who was around the first time Contamination showed up as an EQ will recall the howling that ensued.

My memory fails me, but something about the Fixit boss made the original EQ too hard. He was painful, yes, but doable, and the forums erupted, resulting in a significantly neutered Fixit.

That was years ago. There’s nothing new under the sun.

I’ll gladly take any compensation since I played like a mug throughout the entire path and had to waste revives, but it definitely wasn’t bugged. I think they meant to add a weakness benefit node but just didn’t, so maybe that was the issue.

What was the issue that was happening? I really didn't have a problem on that path, but I do run the resonate mastery so it might have taken care of whatever the issue was.
