Anniversary: So far, Kabam dropped the ball this year
So I just wanna quickly rant about how I think kabam have completely mucked up the anniversary celebrations so far. At first glance, they looked very promising. However, after the Christmas calender, my expectations have just dropped for the Christmas Day gift this year.
First off: Gold boost. People were saving gold crystals for this and managed to refill their supply, so that was pretty good.
Next: halls of glory, healing and Fortune. Definitely a welcome event. Allowed me to access a nice stash of ISO and gold for my champs, and the revives weren't terrible either. Just remove the energy costs completely and it should be fine.
Next: Anniversary arena. Probably the biggest grind fest all year. Yes, 5K 6* shards shouldn't be given away that easily, but this was a little bit of overkill in my opinion. Cavalier difficulty, as bad as the rewards are there, give me an equivalent amount of 6* shards, along with 5* shards, T2A, and T5CC, and it was a lot more fun and enjoyable as well.
Then comes the Christmas calender.
My God.
It's so bad I'm not even gonna talk about it.
Gifting and the Christmas gift? Well, it hasn't occurred yet, so I'll probably reply to this once that gets sorted out.
But so far, I'm pretty disappointed with the anniversary celebrations. Again, this could change later, but right now I am not amused by this.
PS: I'm only talking about the anniversary celebrations. This means stuff like Variant and act 7 were excluded since those are pieces of content that kabam could theoretically release at any point in the year.
