For the community, I was thinking whether Hit Monkey or Night Thrasher with an inbuilt evade counter would've completely nullified Quake. Any thoughts on this?

Mad respect and love to Angerdanger, an absolute pleasure to lose to him. He’s throughly happy with his accomplishments and he told me he’s extremely happy to be able to take his 6* Ghost to r3 Sig 200 with his rewards. A true role model for all the F2P players out there; there are some things that whaling out just can’t buy and that’s skills.

Just finished watching the video a few minutes ago and I was thoroughly impressed with everyone, their skill, strategy and sportsmanship. Especially with AngerDanger's quaking skills. Huge congrats to him!

Yes but I think Apoc and Moleman were banned. AngerDanger banned all quake counters wisely like void, Apoc, Aarkus, Moleman

AngerDanger knows reverse quaking (saw that IMIW fight?) he would have countered that fight pretty well with quake. Same with hit monkey to an extent although he might be going to periodically rotate general quaking then trying to not quake for a while. I am not 100% sure on that one and do not any experience on it but still it should be doable as per my knowledge. Although I think everyone should have gone for Prof X and Apoc (although he had banned them in some rounds (smart boy)) could have uncounterable (don't know if it is a word or not. Lol

The funniest part is when Dory Dave interviewed him at semi-final and asked where he learn that pro-Quake fighting style. His reply is suggesting Dave to watch Dork lessons, where he learn the most about how to use Quake. Lol.
