Cav present is... a let down

T5CC is nice but gems have gone down so much in value that I’m in overflow of all classes nearly! Wish I could have chosen random sig stones instead!?!

You know I always like to hold on to generic stones. I think I only have one in my collection so it's good to have a second. 1 T5cc 10% is helpful as I'll take any T5cc I can get. If they had 25% though, that would have felt more epic. But at least it was included in there in some way.

So it's good. I'm happy with it. Could it have been better? Sure. But it's a free gift that has its value, at least to me

Nope. There will always be something that just isn't good enough for them. If you give them a full T5CC, they won't get the one they want, you give them a selector, they have to choose right away and they don't have anyone to use it on. There will always be something that they don't like and that they are being mistreated etc..

That's fine dude, I actually spent lie $200 getting throne breaker hoping for a 6 star awakening gem, so that was expenisve/pointless. I think cav is fine given that thronebreaker is, atlases yo me, not what I wanted.

The good news is, there is virtually no point to being throne breaker now for at least 6 months so the constant threads about cavalier can finally stop.

Yes you should work for rewards I never said you shouldn’t, but that much time is imo a bit excessive especially since it’s fully possible that you can get the shaft with your 6 star nexus and T5CC crystal

All in all I’m chuffed about the T5CC but not happy with the AG I can’t use.

They are trying to give us a useful gift to help us progress and make us happy and continue to spend more money in their game, which we all love otherwise we wouldn’t be here. And for that many of us expect to progress, and expected a gift to help and to make the game more fun and enjoyable, while continuing progression throughout the story. The problem most of us are having is, we are stuck. Unless you have specific champions, and a plentiful of rank up items.

Not all gifts will be based on progression. The reason why they don't ask us what we'd want is because we want too much. What the community thinks they should get is so far above and beyond what should be given out. Just take a look around the forums and read the threads on people speculating what the gift was going to be. Way to high of expectations. Gifts are little nudges that aren't game breaking. They aren't meant to help you advance to the next level right then an there.

Cav players aren't stuck. Cav players just don't want to do everything they can to make it to TB. If they did, they would be TB by now.

An awakening gem is whatever, and the tenth of a cat is neat enough. I'm neutral on a gift that in other games I play is a big bloody deal: one game gave out 3000 gems (at 100 for a special summon, so equivalent in units for Cav crystals would be 6000 units) as merely a part of their Christmas day gifts. And that game is remorselessly greedy with godawful drop rates.

I'm fine with the gift, less fine with the realization that Kabam treats such a huge and merry day as fodder where arguably worse competitors go full reformed-Scrooge. With the special calenders being packed with single heals and energy refills, and all the quiet hype for meh outcome, I'm getting the impression Kabam sincerely believes that whatever comes down the pipe is way bigger than it actually is. It's not malice; they're just really bloody confused.
