Doom or BWCV to rank 5?

I am currently sitting on a 4 to 5 mystic gem. The two characters I can use it on are doom and BWCV, both unawakened and sitting at rank 4. I would have been more leaning towards doom but I already have him as a 6* at rank 2 who will eventually go to rank 3. Do I need two dooms? I’m currently about to begin 6.3, haven’t completed variant 5 and will eventually hope into the abyss. Who do I rank up and who will help me the most?

    You already have a 6*R2 Doom. I've never been a fan of doubling up on 6*/5* rank ups. I'd go for Claire just for the added utility to your roster.

    Taking him to R5 adds nothing to your roster IMO.

    Yeah that does make sense. The only other thing is that I use doom for AW and AQ sometimes so it would be handy to also clear other content with the second doom

    I have a 5* & 6* doom and never had the need to run 2 dooms in the team.

    If I never extra utility, then I'll bring in BWCV.
