Who to awaken with Generic Gem?

I am yet to explore act 5 and will then try to work on act 6.
Act 5 exploration gives a generic awakening gem + 2 class awakening gems
People say Blade is not as useful in content of act 6 and onward
Considering this, I am confused if I should awaken Blade and use him in act 5 and awaken Cap after exploring act 5

Do capiw, he covers a lot in act6 and cav difficulty.
I duped mine after becoming cav and dumbed all sig stones into him. He is beast and can clear entire path.
