This new thing you did is ****, going down the middle, over links and stuff just makes it well boring, replacing tunnel vision with mix master is rubbish too. No challenge anymore.

Like, the first first map? Like Thorns and slashed tires map? Those were the only nodes that could be considered challenging today (but can be hard countered by Ghost+Hood and OR/Gambit/Namor)

I think that a fusion of this map with the links, and the last map with the nodes would be a g nodes on this AW aren't fun, I have to take champs from a tiny pool of counters, and always end up fighting the same champs. It's boring, resource draining, frustrating and not worth the resources I spend / receive.

It would be nice if there were nodes that allowed me to build a roster using the new champs that come out, or even the ones that I enjoy using. Steady buildup is such a horrible node, and plain not fun! Aegis is awful too, and frustrating war after war for my teammates. There's no fun in that, it's just the same frustrating nodes.
If there were nodes that rewarded good gameplay, and aren't there to kill you from one single slip up, my attitude towards AW would change for the better. Right now, in my humble opinion, it's the worst part of MCOC, and I dread war season.
I know going alliance free is an option, but I've build a strong bond with my teammates after years of playing with them, and don't want to give that up. I just wish the fun would be brought back to AW somehow, instead of it being a resource draining chore that you dread, like 3 days worth of dishes.

i love the current map link layout. WHich means you can pick your poison and still fight the boss reasonably well. Brings a layer of strategy into it as well.

@nanogaming .. Not sure what “1st Map” you mean.

Hammerbro asked if you meant the VERY FIRST one EVER, when AW first came out many years ago (Thorns node on, I think, node 10, why do I still remember that ?)

Or do you mean that you had maybe dropped down a Tier this last time, versus what you had been in previous wars recently. And maybe went from a “Challenger” map to “Hard”. Or from “Hard” to “Intermediate” ?? If so, yes, nodes are easier on lower Tier maps.

Or was it a re-tuning of war maps that took place inbetween some recent seasons that you are talking about ?

These posts that constantly ask for harder content make absolutely no sense to me. If you're so bothered by the challenge take 4* champs and see how you do. Now if you want harder content AND significantly better rewards then that's a conversation that is logical.
