Crsytal hoarding

Hi guys, i have seen so many videos on youtube, where people stack up their crystals, and then go for mega openings. i wanted to ask why is it so? Is it useful to hoard them up and open all at once?

No it's just for fun. You don't get increased chances or anything.

There is no change in drop rates or an increase in chances to get good champs. It's just for fun. I usually save up all my crystal shards for a month or 2 and open them all at once. In meantime, I focus on upgrading the champs I got from the previous opening. I maintain this as a cycle

Once your on a certain lvl it can make sense to hoard for the new feat (5* or 6*)

I for example have most good 5* so Im only going for feat until I have everyone I want or until it expires. For 6* I always do basic.

Hoarding 4* shards can make a lot of sense bc you can now target 2 classes which gives you ~ 50% chance to get the class ISO you want for ranking up champs more efficiently.

And hoarding every crystal that can give value items like the 4h free crystal or rank up resource crystals like the daily makes sense when your inventory is full so they dont go into overflow.

ppl hoard gold crystals and open them when there is a +20% gold boost active (usually around Christmas)

There can be uses behind hoarding. Ofc YTs often do it go get over the 10 min mark for that jucy ad revenue.
