I was sad at first that BPCW is not getting buffed but then I realized that he could get the overhaul and actually be good hopefully. Have both black panthers as 6 stars and a duped 5 star Miles so im hyped

I wouldn't be surprised if BPCW will get his update/tuneup on August this year, for it to coincide with the one year memorial of Chadwick Boseman's death. I think it would be a fitting way to remember him, don't you guys think?

Hope BPCW is getting a Rework too at some point... At least BP Classic has the Hulk-Buster and Tigera Synergies for the time being, he actually gets a Really Good Boost from those...

Count me freaking in. I prefer CW’s design but I will take any good Black Panther at this point
Let’s hope for a new synergy that lets km’s basic attack bleeds stack so he can have some amazing damage on top of his crazy utility

Or at least could they raise the Cap to 5, it'd be like X-23.

So, taking into account my previous track record with having 'to be buffed champs', this isn't looking too great. I got she hulk, spider gwen, luke cage, etc after they had already been buffed. I already owned DDHK, YJ and P2099 before they got buffed, and they all turned out to be decent but not really what we have come to expect from buffs/reworks. I still don't have magneto, who I by far the best buff yet.
I have BP classic, BPCW and miles. So... Im sorry bois, I might have doomed those champs.

That's one use.

Does he actually reflect the encroaching stun back? Or is it a joke that I am not getting. I have not heard this anywhere.

I feel like BP(classic) doesn't really deserve it. His bleeds were always pretty good. Don't get me wrong, he is far from being great, but there are champions who underperform more imo.

If they go the Magneto / Magneto HoX route where one is more solo damage, the other is more team based (with prefight and what not), will they continue that to differentiate between BP and BPCW? I know it won't be as insane a buff as with Magneto, but continuing to differentiate palette swapped champions would be great.

Black Panther currently is just offense - bleeds, while BPCW has the damage/stun reflection utility. Would be cool if they made BP a solo damage dealing champion, while BPCW gets some team based effect (going along with the Civil War theme).

Really like that idea, to be fair. It would give both of the buffs their own niche in the game. Yes, I know that Red Mags is generally more useful than HoX Mags, but generally speaking this sort of split would be quite nice.

As an aside, I’d quite like something similar for Cap and Cap WW2, maybe with the WW2 version having more offensive abilities and the standard Cap having some leadership buffs like CAIW - maybe for Avengers?
