Who are you finding most useful on the new Cav EQ nodes? I just started. This is who have been working for me.

Science (Poison):
1. CapIW (with synergies)
2. Quake
3. She-Hulk (barely had to use her because the first two were so good)

Tech (HealBlock):
1. Warlock
2. ArchAngel (doesn't get the bonus, but shuts down the healing and shreds)

Tell me who you are using for these and for the other paths.

Did you just quake dex style or build up some poisons first?

I did parry style with quake. Worked great.

I brought in Cap IW, Spider-ham (now that he's finally unbugged), and Gladiator Hulk when I did it and honestly, they all worked fine. The 85% poison damage reduction makes any science character with non-damaging debuffs viable to bring. Although I definitely had the easiest time with Cap IW. That being said though Spider-ham was more fun to use.

Cosmic - aarkus (also used him for final boss without reading anything about him, worked great) and hype
    Tech - sentinel, imiw
Science - she hulk, torch for mystic champs
Mutant - manor (multiple hits on sp1 with natural regen, sp3 and it's done)
Skill - km, elsa (1/25 she was actually hitting harder then my 2/35 karnak, wich shows how much he needs to be buffed)
    Mystic - BWCV

Is anyone removing the weakness debuff as per the "weak in the knees" node says?

    For me so far:

Science: Cap IW(parry heavy), Quake(built up some furies first cuz why not)

Tech: Warlock for everything. Was super fun

    Cosmic: Terrax and Silver Surfer

Skill: No one, I quaked the entire path since I had no counter.

I've had no issues. It does have to be a non-damaging debuff. i.e. Void is exceptional for that chapter. HT not so much (apart from the mystics where he still makes 'em crispy).

So far I've only done the science one. For me omega red shreds it since the weakness debuff doesn't apply to his main dmg degen outsource. Medusa also ignores the node with her amour break and poison immunity. Quake you can just quake as well.

    So far:

Science: YELLOWJACKET. Holy ****, it's like the node was designed for him or something. I used AA+Apoc+Cable for Deadpool but stuff like Warlock and Vision is probably fine.
Tech: You're gonna laugh. No really, you're gonna laugh. Star-Lord has a 50% chance to get this fury central per L2. Otherwise? IMIW, and even Rocket Raccoon. Medusa for the Sentinel.
Cosmic: Thor, Medusa. Plenty of good options. I'd also recommend Anus. Killmonger handled Mr. F.

Working on the other three with 4*s.

Now do it without Quake, Tigra, Ghost, or Nick itemless.

    Cuz that's what I'm doin'.

Just FYI, you can't use Warlock on Deadpool. He had the nano-whatever node that shocks robots.

Well, now that I've gotten this far...

The Mystic cav is 100% the worst by a country mile.

    Why?

There are no good counters to the node that are old champs.

The oldest is Thorjane. You basically *need* stagger or instant nullification, and there are exactly zero good champs for that. Don't tell me Juggernaut, because you and I both know Juggernaut is still bad for this due to his very low special attack damage. All I had were Scarlet and Voodoo...and both of them were beyond terrible. Very poor design, basically forces you to rank up new champs or suffer.

(Still got through itemless, but Mojo did not want my AA to live...)

    HOOD?
Hood's newer than ThorJane. Hood came out around the time of Dormammu, actually.

To clarify, Dormammu was the last 4* I ever ranked. To us extremely old vets, 4*s became pointless right around the advent of the 4/55. I'm jerryrigging a team of Scarlet, AA, and Medusa to clear this because I simply do not have the ranked up champions to fight this, and it is *not* worth extremely valuable t4cc to rank up Hood just for this.
  • SegalionSegalion Member Posts: 43
I tried a 4/40 hood. Although i got the first fight done, hood sp damage is as hood regular damage (very low) so it took me 200+ hit
If that is what we called allowing all Champs to be used then something is wrong with definition

Might as well list out the rest of what I did:

Mutant: Wolverine and Horseman Cable. Even 2/20 Apoc got a kill. For Sinister, SL and Hyperion each do well enough.

Skill: Ring it through the halls: Killmonger is amazing. Super Skrull, though? That's a much tougher cookie. However, the answer for me is Doctor Voodoo. Even with the -100% ability accuracy during Falter, Voodoo with Daniel still has 100% ability accuracy and can safely parry.

Mystic: If you have one of the buff neutralizers (Tigra, Doom, Sasquatch, Longshot), then hooray for you! If you HAVEN'T ranked any 4*s since 2017, then you're going to hate yourself. The boss fight? Medusa is a long but sustainable battle and one of the few champions that most easily makes up for accidentally hitting a block. Doom also does just fine. I'd keep away from champs who have less than guaranteed procs in their kit, though.

I ran my full FF team on the science path, and it was great. Used all four of them in various fights.

CGR killed it in the Cosmic chapter.

Tech: Sentinel (his dot damage even suppass regen lol) , Warlock
Cosmic: Cull, Terrax, also Medusa but it's very RNG
Skill: Nick, Night Thrasher destroy the whole quest
    Mutant: Apocalypse, maybe Havok
