6.4.4 Icarus Path (Possibly Bug)

I was using torch, ghost, colossus, doom, and wasp for this path. I managed to get to the wasp miniboss at one point. Then I noticed that torch's incinerates were triggering the lionheart node. This makes sense because torch reduces healing stuff. But if you go to to MCOC NOOB's completion video guide, his nova flames aren't triggering lionheart.

Is this working as intended or was the lionheart added on later or am I missing something lol? Any help will be appreciated

Nova flames are not a debuff so they wont trigger lionheart. But the wasp mini boss also does not trigger lion heart, the degen you are seeing is likely from the icarus node.

Once I get the units, let me take a screenshot and send it. I saw a regen sign on the wasp and she healed like 10%. Once I get like a 100 units, I'll post a screenshot for sure.

Of course there was a regen buff on it it's due to energy adoption fire, every hit had a 50% chance to place an incinerate on you, and when you put that same debuff on them they regenerate 1% max health per second.

Like I said there is no lionheart, it has to due with energy adoption fire.

Yeah for sure just pay attention to rage, it will be a longish fight.

Do anyone has an idea how Despair interacts with Lionheart node?
For example, will many bleed debuffs trigger Lionheart through despair, or Lionheart just triggers on debuffs that originally modify regen rate like petrify?
Haven’t tried it, so any insight is appreciated 🙂

I don't think despair triggers it. Though I did all the lionheart fights with warlock. If that is stopping the node from triggering then I don't know.

I can confirm despair does not trigger lion heart, here are 2 examples of despair vs lion heart in act 6.4.5

The only thing that triggers lionheart is poison and petrify.
