Why are most of my champs auto-evading?

I noticed something last night and this morning, and I must be missing something.

In event quest and side quest, many of my champs are auto-evading. Literally I can start a fight, hold down nothing to allow opponent to hit me, and I evade without doing anything. I’ve confirmed this happens for Human Torch, Medusa, and Guardian. It didn’t happen for Nick Fury. Also note this happens against multiple opponents (Deadpool, symbiote Spider-Man, etc.)

I then tried it in a duel, and it doesn’t happen.

What am I missing? Is this happening to anyone else?

Oh wow, that’s it! I have Quake and Fury together, and I don’t think I really usually have that combo.

I don’t play NF much, so wasn’t thinking of potential synergies, but this explains everything I am seeing.
