Mags has way more utility than CGR and way more use in act 6 exploration.

Technically all 3. Mags does work for me, 1 shots all the metal act 6 bosses. Cgr can solo some of the paths, especially with a cosmic boost. Apocalypse makes the rest of us champs better.
